there was a movie i saw a while ago it was about some guy who got a statue and inside its mouth was a scroll i think he read it and put it back in and it would come to life the statue i mean and it would kill for him nothing would hurt the statue. later in the movie the army actually tried to stop the statue but could not the statue being idistructable : / this was a movie during the time like when movies like the skull, horror express, from beyond the grave were being maid i would think sometime when Peter Cushing was making horror movies but the movies title is not known to me would anyone be so kind as to tell me the title of this movie? please :) thank you

I dont know if it's the name, but that sounds exactly like the legend of a Golem. so maybe that is what it is called.

Couldnt find anything on IMDB though

could be It , a 1960's uk/us remake of the golem story.
