Big Explosions

I love big explosions in movies... Just watched the propane tank scene in the new dotd, and that just fucking amazes me (thought i was gonna say "blew me away", didnt ya?)

But those are some of the most impressive scenes in movies. Especially when they are killing the bad guy that way. There is nothing more satisfying that the utter destruction of the foe.

Blow his ass up, and there is nothing left. Shit, that is part of what has made the alien movies so great. Predator had a kick-ass explosion. Shit, the best parts of independance day were the buildings getting blown up :)

I am not the biggest explosion fan; I prefer to see people mercilessly gunned down in a hail of bullets!

... But main characters being blown forward by a stupidly big ball of flame is a movie stable, it's like a seal of approval that guarantees action! YAY
:D

The scene in 28 days later where the Petrol Station gets blown up is pretty sweet..

Explosions are pretty slick in films..

Adds to the flavour!

Starship Troopers has some pretty cool explosions in it too.

Have you seen that?

Personally I enjoy the explosion in Halloween 2.
