new trends

does it seem to you guys that what was once old and pooey is now new and fresh. like take zombie movies for one. with 28 days later (not a zombie movie, but close enough), remake of dawn of the dead, and shaun of the dead doing really well, it seems that we will be seeing a lot more zombie movies coming out and doing well, until of course they have run there course once again and begin to lose their style again. i never thought romero was going to get the help to make the 4th dead movie, but with universal seeing the money zombie movies bring in, they figured why not. does any one else see this trend or do you guys see any other trends in horror movies?

if you guys have already discussed this i apoligize. i am in a hurry and i didn't have time to check the old threads.

it always seem to be case.....when someone is successful then everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

you know what else is new and fresh? whenever people reference 28 Days later and always have to put (not a zombie movie, but its close enough) as if everyone in the world doesn't get it and or know that already.
