I Need Backup!
 

Alright guys im having a little computer trouble. I just got a new webcam (Hawking Technology) and i plug it into my USB port and it says that i need to install new software or some shit. Does anyone know what to do?

if the thing came with softwae then you should install that before pluggin the cam in......DUH!!


but if you have already done that then try going to the website and downloading a driver for it....usually these things have to be updated or some shit so that is another option.......hmmmmm


if you try that an it still doesnt work then iono what to tell you......

I need to install drivers and a new program for it but i cant find any drivers for it. Its a UC-300.

drivers should have come with the device

just try going to their website or typing in whatever the hell its called in yahoo. then a page will come up where u can DL whatever it is that u need

r u sure there wasnt a cd? usually comes with a cd. oh well the way i see it its just more garbage in the way i just use em once throw em out and if i ever need to install again just go to the website

not even so much that i throw em out.. more like i lose them ;)

If it dont work as 'plug 'n' play' like most USB devices do then.....
as said, install any software that came with the cam. Then go to the manufacturers site, download the latest drivers for it. Then install the drivers, plug the cam in, run any software to operate the cam and it should work.

My webcam and its so called "drivers" and "software" completely fucked my comp, it never recovered....
