The weathers changing and in come the....

....fucking biggest-bastard-house-spiders-know-to-man in from the chill.

I've had to kill 3 of the big bastards already this week. Two of em were crawiling around the bedroom....they just had to go, couldnt stand the thought of one of the gits crawiling over me in my sleep

and the other facehugger was siting on the edge of the kitchen draining board, with big legs dangling over the edge.... out came a big spatular and whack!!!

I just cant stand the things, they make my flesh crawl.

bloodrayne 09-17-2004 10:09 AM

Just thought I'd let you know that it's bad luck to kill spiders in your house...

You're supposed to catch them and put them back outside...

Of course...I'd just squash 'em too:)

newb 09-17-2004 10:13 AM

They'll creep up on ya ,Shanks. Ya gotta look out for Boris the Spider.

at least you don't live here. From mid-spring until winter, we get gnats, huge swarms of gnats. And this summer we started getting spider webs around the back door, but the spiders usually aren't in them, so they're probably making more webs elsewhere.

<<<Fails to see the point of both insects and arachnids

there's no way I'd attempt to catch em. As soon as I see one, a killer instict takes over and it has to be dead.

genetic evolution took a complete nose dive when it decided to create creatures with eight hairy legs.... why the hell it couldnt have created a women with three tits or something else more enjoyable..... instead of spiders.

Every year around October, we get these big orange and black spiders with white spots. They spin their big webs everywhere. On the power lines, under the eves, over the doors. I've had one or two drop down on me while walking out the back door. Man, that will make you sh*t your pants. My son and I like to shoot at them while they are suspended in their webs.[with his Daisy Red Ryder] They explode with yellow goo.:D

orangestar 09-17-2004 12:08 PM

yeah, spiders are gross, but its more the suprise of seeing them that gets me.

Now DRAGONFLYS are probably the fucking scariest animal alive. I cant stand to even look at pictures in books. My mom always tries to convince me that they are harmless, and she decorated our screened in porch with dragonfly shit. If a live one ever touched me, Id literally pass out.

Mr. Nash 09-17-2004 12:33 PM

I HATE spiders. I wish they would all just die. Or at least never come within 100 yards of me. The eight-legged freaks.

I like dragonflys, sometimes get them hovering around the pond in the garden, during the summer.

Malicious_Mirth 09-17-2004 04:35 PM

Ritualistic 09-17-2004 04:58 PM

Where I live we have mosquitos (a lof of them)

nine9 09-17-2004 08:11 PM

Actualy spiders are the only insect I don't mind............however, now that I am alone in my house, I have come to the realization that all bug extermination is now my job......

The other day I had the hugest beetle in my BR that eacaped under the bathtub! Sprayed Windex in the crack! lol

I have no idea how I will deal with the centipedes in the basement.............will have to get Kpro to bring his gun around I guess :p

SoUl SuRvIvOrS 09-17-2004 08:26 PM

I normally have no issue with bugs..after all I have a couple spiders I feed but I dont think I cant deal with the spiders in Iraq...check out this picture..of a camel spider they have attitudes..you can shoot them and beat the hell out of them with the butt of a gun and they still go in the sand and pop out at you..they have a very bad habit of holding grudges...

Ritualistic 09-17-2004 08:37 PM

here is a coach roach i found in the yard earlier.....

SoUl SuRvIvOrS 09-17-2004 08:45 PM

be glad your not in Georgia... one year when I lived there they had albino roachs white and everything..weirdest fucking thing I had ever seen in my life..well at least up to that point in my life.
When I lived in Charleston,SC the had swarms of little fuckin blue beetles every where..never seen so many damn beetles in my life.

SoUl SuRvIvOrS 09-17-2004 08:56 PM

AW come on they're harmless unless you deal with the "dangerous" ones..the key to that is read up on them and know which ones that includes.. Camel spiders bite you and there venom has like a flesh eating substance in it and softens your skin so they can eat into the wound where they like to lay eggs and feast literally inside out..really fuckin nasty spiders if you ask me.
