Gone
Off to start my life in about ten days. This past weekend I went to pick out an apartment by my college. Starting at Douglas School of Buisness on Oct. 4th for special effects make-up. So I can work on horror movies and such. It's gonna rock.

Wow! thats sounds bloody interesting. I hope you manage to get a job in the industry.
:) |

Is he already in the industry or going to school or what? And is it possible? Someone making a post without another member replying in some sort of sarcastic "who cares" stlye. Thanks for the thoughts.

war, one word of advice, and i know that i dont know you personally, but i am proud for you man and i want you to take this seriously. you need to get in there and keep your nose to the grindstone. make that your only passion for the next couple of years. if you keep your head in your work, you will go far. friends will try to sidetrack you, and thats ok to some degree,as long as you know when to get back to work. sorry if i sounded like an old man or something, but i dont want to see you make the same mistakes that i did. i went to school to be a lighting and sound tech, and was doing good untill i started fucking off. i even had offers to work on broadway, but i pissed it away. good luck man.

Yeah deffently. Thats pretty much how I am already. It's cool to have fun sometimes but I don't let in interfear with work or school. Hate to say it but seeing my brothers both not go to college has put me on the right track. I've always learned from there mistakes. One good thing about being a few years younger. Haha. It's made me glad also to see my family so happy that I actually went through with what I have wanted to do since I was younger. They saw both brothers mess up. They had big after highschool plans but neither followed it through like I have. Sorry to hear about your situation. Remember though it's never too late to start over. You just have to want it bad enough.

Just so happens I have the august 13th issue of fangoria in front of me. Though there is no add on page thirteen but there is one on page 11 for my school. Tom Savini's Special Effects Make-Up Program at Douglas Education Center. The other add in the magazine is for the Joe Blasco Make-Up Trainning Center. This is weird I just looked at his Myspace.com thing and he's going to my school. He started in june it says.
