What's the scariest thing you have ever encountered?

Mine was when I was about 20 years old..

Went to my parents house to find the door open and no one inside.. It seemed odd to me that no one was there but the door was open. I went inside and did a quick scan of each room.

Then I went to the bathroom, as I was there I started thinking about how in movies the crazed murderer sometimes hides behind the shower curtain.

So I pulled it open to find my Mom, Grandma, and 2 sisters standing inside the tub screaming at me... Scared the shit out of me..

wow thats pretty scary

but i do have to ask

WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU GRANDMOTHER AND YOUR TWO SISTERS DOIN IN THE TUB TOGATHER ACK!!!

They were hiding in there so they could scare me. It worked!

Yeah I think seeing grandma in the shower would scare me also.

were they naked? cause if they were naked the line about them trying to scare you might'nt be true me thinks.
anywho things that make me jump are normaly things like pogo sticks, trampolines, jumping castles, shoes with big springs on the soles etc..........

Things that made me jump ? Well, the parents have a second home in the mountains. Sits on the side of a mountain, 9 acre's. It was late at night. Probably around midnite. Just me and the wife were there. No kids.
So you can imagine what we doing. Right there on the living room floor. The floor is hard polished wood but we were on a thick rug. Anyway,we were going at it when we heard a loud... "WHAM,WHAM,WHAM". Man,we both shot straight up onto our feet. Quick as sh*t. I still had my socks on and I came down on that wood floor, scrambling like a dog/cat does when running across a linoleum floor. Landed smack on my ass. Me and the wife just stared at each other. It was silent.
I got up,put on my pants and grabbed my gun. The wife was scared.
I was a bit spooked myself. I looked out the window. It was pitch black,I couldnt see a thing. The movie" Deliverence"crossed my mind a couple of times. To make a long story short I checked the basement and around the frt porch. I never found out what made the noise. It sounded like somebody was pounding on the basement door. Maybe it was just some pissed off bear. lol... one came up on the porch last week and turned the grill over.

Did you ever think that the WHAM,WHAM,WHAM noise may have been you and your wife. Sometimes, when two people are involved in coitus, the skin may come together in a slapping motion causing the sounds that you described.Just a thought. And next time, take your socks off.:D
