The chick who played Evie was hotter. Probably because she wasn't being a whiny little bitch the whole movie

Sam The Egg 08-25-2004 05:36 PM

Oh. I haven't seen her recently. Evie was hot in the movie

I took my kid to see "Spiderman 2" .[ I thought it was very good ]
and I watched "Southern Comfort" monday night. It was on HBO or one of those. Great 80s movie in the same vein as "Deliverance".

Just now I put on "JU ON: The Grudge". I wanna see the original before the Hollywood remake comes out.

I also just popped open a nice cold Harpoon's IPA.

Vampenguin 08-25-2004 06:05 PM

More power to ya! :) It's just a little harder for me to watch that many movies with three children. Especially when my favorite type of movies would absolutely horrify them. Have to wait until they go to bed, by that time I'm pretty tired myself! :D

* sorry. started to ramble there a bit...;)

I agree. I thought Dogville was an excellent film. It has the pastoral feel of plays like "Our Town", but the tension that builds to that unforgettable ending totally blows any preconceived ideas about small-town, rural life completly out of the water. I recommend it heartily, although it isn't a horror film.

Jacob's Ladder ... no, I wanted to see it after I read an article that said that Silent Hill was highly influenced by Jacob's Ladder. And you can really see it in the film, particularly the scene where he is being pushed on the gurney through the insane asylum. Also, an excellent film.

This is just a note to say that I think your avatar is the fucking coolest thing I have seen on this site in a while. It is clear, creepy, and is of overall good quality.

I will continue to shop at your establishment in the future.
