Just Watched Bubba Ho Tep!
 

It came down to renting Bubba Ho Tep or Beyond Reanimator. But i was in the mood for a comedy so i rented that. And i think it is an awesome movie. I thought most of it was funnier than hell.

I think King of Ants is on my next "To Rent" list. Boxing Helena was cool and you know it niney. At least they didnt show him doing the operations. Plus it was all a dream anyways

I liked the whole Re-Animator series. It's campy, and relies alot on the gore factor, but it's pretty true to following the story.

I wouldn't waste my time on KOTA...also Dead Above Ground.

Try Fear of the Dark, Deathwatch, or Tomie/Tomie Replay if your into Asian.

Yeah, another reason why i chose Bubba Ho Tep is because my mom wanted me to rent something for her. And she doesnt like horror shit. But i plan on renting Beyond Reanimator soon :D

i watched that killer clowns from mars or whatever.... it was so funny they put the dead bodies in cotton candy that loooked like rubber. LOL that movie is so random:confused:

Its about an Elvis impersonator who wakes up in a nursing home because he broke his hip imatating "the king" Suddenly people in the home start dying due to a ancient egyptian mummy who has been brought back from the dead to swallow the souls of nursing home residents. Anyways him and a black man, who thinks he is JFK, thinks that the government dyed his skin to play it off like he died. So Jack and Bruce Campbell(forgot his name in the movie) set off to defeat the mummy and the movie goes from there

Bubba Hotep is a great movie.
When I first heard about it,I didn't see it working out, but it did.
But oh well.

Bubba ho tep actually seemed to takjke itself seriously. there was a lot that was funny, but in the end, i think it was a somewhat serious story.

It was kinda weird though, even when it got serious.
Evil and a black FJK fight a mummy dressed like a coyboy.

that was what surpised me about it. My fiance asked "are you really going to make me sit through this". 5 minutes into it, she was completely engrossed.

the premise is ridiculous to the point of almost being stupid, but it worked so well.... it is genius, pure genius

I saw this about a month ago and it had to be the greatest movie of the year. I went to the local fye and I saw it, but it was 30 fucking dollers. WTF?:confused:

Well, that IS better than virtuosity for $24.... I like it, but nobody else does, and there were 0 special features on the disc, just the movie, "interactive menu", and spanish and french subtitles.....

FUCK FYE. I used to work there and I always got in fights with my manager about the outrageous prices they have on shit. 27.99 for the new TCM, not the special edition or anything, just plain old TCM without commentary or any special features. Too bad I stole over 500$ of merchandise in a two month period there.

if you wanna buy Bubba Ho Tep your best bet is Best Buy, or wal mart has it too. Also Columbia House DVD has it for like 15 bucks if youre a member.
