Shawn of the Dead
 

I saw avp recently and one of the previews was for this movie. They advertised it like it was some kind of Brittish cult classic. have i missed something? has anyone heard anything about it or anything else that they might have done.

I think its a zombie spoof movie, got good reviews i think

I learned about this from Zwoti and ShankS. They got the dirt on it. But i looked it up on www.imdb.com and it looks pretty good

A customer of mines got to attent an advance screening of this movie and he said he liked it a lot. At first I heard him talking to his friend about zombies and the reporters on the tv and I jumped into their conversation and asked if he was talking about Shaun Of The Dead. We were talking about it for a few minutes and he said he had a great time watching it.
From what I saw on the trailer, I love the part where the people had sort of a zombie class where they learned to act like zombies so they wouldn't be attacked. I also like when two of the actors were deciding which of their records they should throw at the zombies.
It looks really good and interesting. I can't wait for it to come out.

I saw Shaun of The Dead in the cinema, was a good film, quite funny :p

i have friends in england so like 28 days later i was privy to this before it hits theaters and i've got to say one of the BEST zombie flicks of all times

great character devolment, best i've seen in a zombie flick, you really care about the charaters

there are parts that will make you fall out of your chair with laughter - example - pool cue sence in the pub...priceless

parts that will scare you

parts that make you sad

and shit that has never, ever, ever been done in a zombie flick before - and you gota wonder if it would work ;)

and enough gore to satisfy any horror junkie

all i got to say is the english have a messed up sense of humor, all the driving sences - wow, just wow

all in all a must see in the theaters, i've showed it to countless friends who HATE horror moives and they absolutly love this movie

this really is a quality film im from the uk and its out on dvd soon over here its a must see its a mock of dawn of the dead.it came out the same day as dawn of the dead

it's not a "mock" of anyhting, it's a true zombie movie in it's own right that uses a "comical" at times outlook through the lead charaters' eyes

saying shaun is a mock of dawn04 because they came out on the same day is just plain stupid, if anything it reinforces the fact that it isn't

if anything dawn04 is a mock of the orignal and i'd go as far to say mocking films like 28 days later

using the "Fast" zombie for cheaper, blunter scare tactics that ended up making dawn 04 an action movie with zombies - i.e. resident evil

This movie rocks i saw it the first week it came out in the uk and its funny as hell.I recomend it to anyone.Its one of the best english films ever.

Best scene = the 'dont stop me now' scene in the pub,classic!

alll i have to say is fuck this movie, all it is, is a gigantic mock to one of the classic premiere zombie movies of all thime "Dawn of the Dead".
