Just to put it out there, has anyone seen The Fog?
What a horrible film! Statred out good, then fell apart into a dribbling, slow rash of a film. British crap at it's best.

Yep:)
I see I made a spelling error...and you are calling me on it....so now what do we do? Should I feel silly? Or proud that that is all you can call me on...proud...yes, I'll go with that.
|
so you don't like the fog as it's british crap.....so it's british eh?
|
Sigh....
I doubt that could be the reason, considering i am British
|
someone doesnt know his films that well.
Calls himself a True Fan. roflmao |
Really...
So, Shank, you tell me why I do not know films...please...go ahead.

Weak story line, poor acting....effects....don't get me started. Like I said, it started out great...then they started talking....story was all over the place. The "ghosts" at the end....are you kidding me!?

it was a generalisation, as in 'one' or 'many' films. In your case I suspect many. Now tell us, how can the film be 'British' crap. |

.... we are waiting......

A British films in general can be crap. Are all of them? No, but the many of them are. From the many that I have seen, I do not see much in the way of great story telling. (Please, for the love of all that is good, don't pull out Monty Phython) The styling of the films are bland, the most they can usally pull off is decent King Arthur film from time to time.
|
once again i ask the question....why do you think the the fog is british?
any chance you'll answer this question. |
... but we would like an answer.
please do not make us wait anylonger, the anticipation for your answer is just getting too much. |
Ahh, yea, ol' ShankS
Well, I did answer....so, I really don't know what else to say....The Fog sucks, I guess.
|
Quote:
.... hey ShitHitsTheFan are there any British actors in The Fog??? we want to know. |

God! This thread is the funniest thing I have ever read. Look at the way zwoti and ShankS are just hovering over TrueFan like a couple of vultures waiting for a kill. It's great. They're like two physical halves of one personality, twiddling their fingers and finishing each other's sentences, all the meanwhile drooling with large grins on their faces. What a pair!

Sweet heaven....
Dean Cundey ( Cinematographer) British...hence the poor film style.
John Carpenter.....he has YET to make a real horror film Charles B. Bloch (Producer / Executive Producer) Britiash...he has the cash and had allot of say on the film...hence...the sucking part. |
so are you saying that john carpenter is british?
|
So I guess, 'Christine' and 'Vampires' aren't horror films?! and Damn all this time I thought they were!
Oh and just because a film has a British producer ($$$) doesn't mean the film is a British film!! If I remember correctly this film stared Jamie Lee Curtis, who did this film shortly after Halloween, and it took place in the States! So HTF is it British Crap? |

Slasher films are a sub-genre of Horror Films, you can't say that slasher aren't horror cause they are!
You obviously must not really like horror films, cause basically all you do is BASH all of them! |

When did he say John Carpenter directed Carrie? I must have missed that. I thought he was just listing some films that he thought were bad, when I asked him to list some he thought were good. Unless, when he said Carrie he meant Christine. But even so, how is Christine a weak film? What the fuck?
