Region 1 or Region 2?
 

The new Halloween Box Set is coming out August 30th. An it has region 2 dvds in it. So how do I know what kind of dvd player I have. Where does it say if it plays region 1, 2, or both types of DVDs?

depends on where you are........if in doubt check your model of player on the 'net.

Well that sucks. Why do they have regions anyways? Is their a chance that the Box Set will also be region 1?

could someone tell me what type it is? I didn't see anything there

do you have a dvd drive in your pc?

you can get software that allows you to watch dvd's from other regions

If your good with electronics, their are sites which show you how to hack the firmware ruunning your DVD player allowing you to run all region DVD's. There are also DVD players which will play all region DVD's but htey are a little pricey.
