Who is the greatest Simpsons character? Well, that's up for debate, but there's one way we can find out! It is time... for the first ever Cartoonament!

I've narrowed the field down to 64 characters. From here on out, it's majority rules. First character to 5 votes win! You can vote on who you think would win a fight, who's funnier, who you like better, whatever. We're just looking for the all-around most loved Simpsons character here!

For the record...I'm pretty sure that Homer will end up taking the entire tournament

Why does everyone seem to think Homer will win? I don't think he's the funniest/best character on the show at all. Sure, he's great, but it's the side characters that really make the show great for me.

On that same note, since everyone (except me) seems to be unanymous in their support of Homer... What do you guys think about pulling him out of the tourney? (We could still have him face off against whoever ends up winning in the clash of champions after the tourney is over.) Let me know what you guys think about this....

Actually...I think it's a great idea...I don't really see any of the other characters being able to take Homer out during the course of the tournament..

Originally, I didn't even think about it because I wouldn't vote for him in every match. There are characters I like better. BUT, I've had 3 different people say they know Homer will win. My thought was that if he is certain to win, then it makes the tourney kind of obsolete. So I offered to take him out, that way we can determine who's the 'other' favorite, and then have the tourney winner face off against Homer after the tourney.

But, I agree with you Fluff. That was my original thinking too, it only changed because it became clear that we have a VERY heavy favorite. I'm open though, I'll do whatever the majority thinks we should do.


P.S. My top 5 wouldn't even have a single member of the Simpsons family in it.
