Best Sandwich Meat

Which meat do you think makes the best sandwich (of those listed above)? I choose baloney. It is a good meaty meat. Ham is too sweet, and turkey and chicken are both too light, although I'll eat those, too. Of course, if I want a good, hot sandwich, nothing beats roast beef (unless it is a meatball.)

You're welcome.

BACON #1

Then hamburgers....

ShankS 07-21-2004 09:06 AM

out of that lot I'd go for the bbq one, but my real preferance, not listed, would have to be a steak sandwich.

Stingy Jack 07-21-2004 09:09 AM

I actually had that as one of the choices. I had: "Steak -- cheesesteak or a big-ass ribeye wearing a bun for a hat. Actually ... forget the bread."

But then I changed my mind, because I already typed that I voted for baloney and was too lazy to go back and change it.

so baloney, is a steak one then..... I'll have mine medium rare please. :D

BBQ is great, but I love going to a huge Kosher deli thats been in downtown since like 1899 and get a corned beef or pastrami sandwich, they put like a pound of meat on it...yum

ShankS 07-21-2004 11:23 AM

I find pastrami all gritty, like it's got sand mixed in with the meat. Is it supposed to be like that??

Stingy Jack 07-21-2004 11:31 AM

Only when you find the sandwich abandoned on the beach, you gross bastard.

Yuck. Those are chunks of fat and unprocessed bits of meat.

the nearest beach to me is about 50 miles away lol

but the pastrami I tryed before, was in expensive sandwiches from some bar in London, so I just thought it was some nasty meat, you'd need an aquired taste to get used to the stuff.
