Since the rate of new posts today is pretty low, I thought I'd make a new thread to liven up the discussion.

It is 10:40 a.m. where I am, and my child is blissfully asleep. I am sitting in my office, surrounded by junk that I am in the process of either packing or throwing away. I am wearing a black t-shirt and grey sweat shorts ... and the boxers I slept in last night.

My hair is a mess, and I am unshaven.

The coffee is fine, though. And I am thinking seriously about microwaving some mini sausage biscuits, and slathering them with mustard.

My cat is laying in the sunlight, and she tries to scratch my feet when I walk by ... so I nearly fall down every time I go through the living room.

My wife is at work.

The end.

Let's see...it's 12:45AM here in Korea. I am awake because it is too damn hot to sleep. I am looking forward to going back to Canada where the weather is much cooler than here.

I am wearing boxers and a tank top with 2 fans on me and I'm still too warm!!

Oh well....I only have 10 more days.

Got to get to bed soon though. Have an early day tomorrow and busy. Going into Seoul. Its a 2 hour bus ride so I'll just sleep on the bus....cuz I probably won't get much sleep tonight.

Well, I just finished my breakfast (sausage biscuits ... mmmm) and my kid woke up and demanded breakfast as well. Still drinking the coffee and smoking a cigarette (which is NOT COOL!)

..... the phone's started ringing, I wonder who that could be, probably the gas company trying to sell me some more crap again.

Be sure you tell us what it is you get for dinner. I like to talk about those weird-ass British meals. ;)

by going whats in the fridge/chiller etc looks like it maybe one of my italian specials tonight....spagetti, I've been trained well, by my life long italian connections in Rome.

Spaghetti is a boring subject (sigh). Unless, of course, you serve it up with a side of grilled tomato and a pile of octopus! :D

12:20 in the afternoon here. Just ate a small meatball sandwich which I washed down with an iced-tea. [ they were out of chicken salad ]. I am at work, the sun is shining and I don't wanna be here.Its around 86 degrees and I should be home in my pool sipping on a nice cold beer.

Where? I'm in Nova Scotia. Not the most popular place in Canada but I like it.

I grew up in Manitoba. One of those damned prarie provinces .... flat as a shadow, with nothing but field for as far as the eye can see. I loved it, though. you should eat the traditional italian way.

first course fry a large steak medium rare, then eat this hot with fresh ground pepper, have crusty bread to wipe the plate.

second course, is freshly cooked spaghetti, drizzled with bertolli robusto olive oil and a fresh picked basil pesto lightly stired in, have more crust bread.

third course is freshly cut salad leaves, drizled in white wine vinegar.

fourth course, strong italian blue cheese with parma ham, mortadella and salami.

A good italian frascatti or chianti should be drunk throughout the entire dinner.

If its "hot as hell", wouldn't that make it feel like summer.Unless your springs are "hot as hell", then it would feel like spring. I'm assuming your winters aren't "hot as hell". Then it would feel like summer all year long......that is if your summers were hot as your springs, much like your winters, which are or are not "hot as hell" because if they were where would all the snowmen go.

There is an upside though, i only need HR's approval before i get promoted. YAY Vod ! :)

I'm at work, eating a sub from Subway (cold cut combo). Posting here. I get an hour lunch, so that's cool.

I have bad gas. I was late to work this morning. The hot chick that I work with here caught me picking my nose in my cubicle. She didn't say anything, but she gave me that "ewww, what a gross pasty white computer nerd" look.

Not too bad so far today.

It is 11:28am.............woke up about an hour ago. Just making noodles and sauce for breaky!

Checked my bank account at work $11,000 so I am set for September! Wahoo!

Going to exercise, then go to employment insurance to fix a problem. That is if my hands can leave this keyboard! LOL!

Not cats have fallen on my head yet today.....so far all is well! :D

:D Just kidding. My point was the summers in Mississippi are the only thing different during the year in that the temperature increases greatly. Otherwise, if it is spring, fall, or winter, it is mildly pleasant outside. No snow. And with all the damn pine trees around here, it's constantly green. The lack of change is annoying.

Meh. Try living in Michigan. I've seen it go from 90 degrees outside one day, to 30 degrees and hailing the next. I'd kill for your kind of stability.

6.09 pm work over for another day.

Picking your nose and getting caught can be embarrasing. Whats worse is farting. I work in my own little room so if I feel the need to let loose then....BLAM.....but sometimes.....right after I let one of them go...were talking nasty budweiser and chili fart here...one of the girls will walk in from the office.....what are ya gonna do....nobody else is in there with you....your busted.

It is 10:15 pm here...I woke up about 4 hours ago...So, technically, I suppose this is still my "morning"...Anyway...I am Sitting in the parlor at this slow assed computer, recovering from a migraine that started sometime yesterday and lasted pretty much all day long...Depressed because I can't get ahold of my guy...Wicked Lady is in the kitchen cooking for Shinobi...Demon Seed is in the livingroom, playing Super Smash Brothers Melee with Shinobi and Alucard...That's pretty much it, for right now

I love noodles and sauce!! I can't get them here in Korea...now I'm craven. They will have to go on my list of food I must buy when I get home. :p

I dont care for canadian beer. (I hate it in fact, sorry) But i always admired you guys for frenchfires with gravy...:)

Gravy is a fantastic topping for any number of foods. It reminds me of when i was a kid living in germany. They have a dish called "Jaegerschnitzel". Literally "Hunter's cut". (Yes, jaegermeister is "Master Hunter") This restauraunt on the NATO base we were stationed at made Jaegerschnitzel (breaded fried pork chop or veal, smothered in mushroom sauce....). They served it with these HUGE meaty fries, and you never needed ketchup because there was so much mushroom gravy..

God im hungry..

And i cant wait to get my cooking website up...

My sister lives in Winnipeg. I was there about 6 years ago. Nice place. Was going to move there and get a job but the job fell through. If you ever decide to visit Halifax, do it in the summer or fall. I think that would be the best time since so much is usually going on then...like festivals and the Buskers.

Yes Winnipeg MB! What are you doing in Korea? I must have missed that! I would love to go there or anywhere in Asia....................well not EVERYWHERE........LOL!

My parents have been teaching english here for the last year and thought it would be nice to fly me out for a visit. I've been here since the beginning of May. I love it! One of my best experiences for sure. :D

Hey Vod, I can't tell the diff between American and Canadian beer, but the I don't drink a lot of beer.........when I do, it is usually Bud anyway LOL!
