Dammit...That Part SUCKED!

Okay...So what part of which movie, sucked the most for you and should have NEVER happened?

For me...It was the end of the original Night Of The Living Dead...Ben should NOT have died...DAMMIT...That sucked major ass:mad:

It depressed me, but it made the movie for me. Its my favorite horror movie for tons of reasons, but the ending made it unique and special.

I have to think about this one, I'll post later.

wufong 07-17-2004 07:52 PM

True. maybe he shouldn't have died. but maybe it's one of those things that made this movie so memorable.....?

I think that I still would have remembered the movie if he hadn't been shot  ...I'm sorry...That part just really pissed me off, and still does every time I watch it...After all the shit that he went through...It all ended up being for nothing...He deserved to live...I gotta keep telling myself, "It's just a movie":)

KRUGERKID13 07-17-2004 08:25 PM

fried green tomatoes when chris odonnel got hit by the train that reall bothered me

Angelakillsluts 07-17-2004 08:29 PM

Great thread idea :) I'll have to put some thought in to this one though.

LOL! I think him getting killed was the most awesome thing to happen to the horror industry! It eliminated the idea that a movie always had to end happily!

The first time I saw it, I was completely shocked/surprised and it was the last thing in the world I expected, but that's what was so great about it! Romero's the man.

In House of the Dead, I hated the part where I payed money, and then actually sat through the entire movie waiting for it to end, all the way up to the part where I walked out of the theatre feeling robbed and out to my car. That part pretty much sucked.

Freddy Krueger. 07-17-2004 08:34 PM

Fried Green Tomatoes when Chris Odonnel got hit by the train.

Lord of the Flies when poor little Piggy got killed by that boulder. (That was such a wussy way to kill someone. The kid just pushed the boulder down on him. I actualy felt sad for that kid. A man (or male kid) should fight their battles with their fists. No weapons should be used. Take it like a man. )

I hated when Noah got killed in the Ring, he was my favorite character.

I know theres more. great thread Idea!

Plaguewind 07-17-2004 09:01 PM

Well, the one which sucked the most...

In Prom Night 3, when that demon girl is going downstais and grows claws... Just laughable...

Also, in the end of Jason X, when they`re wathing him come closer through the window...

Yeah that part momentarily looked as if it might suck, but then it was instantly redeemed when that black astronaut guy came out of nowhere! I laughed so hard at that part! Almost as hard as when the cryogenically frozen Jason still manages to chop someones arm off.

lol

Tubalcain 07-17-2004 09:10 PM

in the original version of night of the living dead, ben had to die. the whole movie was a political statement on the oppression of the african american. the "zombies" were supposed to be the black man threatening the white world in general. i could explain more, but i just dont have time now, maybe later.

nine9 07-17-2004 09:47 PM

THE DUMB STUPID ALIENS IN SIGNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ruined the whole movie for me.........wanted my money back!

Very true. They're good but overhyped. Except Unbreakable. I wasted 3 bucks and 2 hours of my life on that steaming pile of crap. I think everyone hates at least one of his movies, but everyone hates a different one

fluffho 07-17-2004 09:58 PM

i cant think of any except moulin rouge

makes for a better story but i cant stand seeing a grown man cry

that and i love that love story

thecritic 07-17-2004 10:34 PM

I like Dracula 2000. But I thought that the ending sucked. The whole fight sequence lasted for about 2 minutes. I waited the entire movie, for "the final battle scene" and I was so disappointed in it, it sucked.

in the remake of dawn, when ving rhames cuts his arm in the fountain, it was like they were leading up to something that never happened you know.....

Agreed....thats what makes the movie fucking GREAT.....bram stokers dracula, i thought dracula went down a little easy for the build up they had towards the ending climax....

All i can think of right now...

moonsorrow 07-18-2004 01:17 AM

without a doubt its in house on hauntet hill...im sure you all know what im talking about... its that damn hollywood ending

Stingy Jack 07-18-2004 06:03 AM

Mine would have to be the whole zombie baby thing in the remake of "Dawn". Almost completely ruined an otherwise great film, for me.

Egekrusher 07-18-2004 06:39 AM

I thought the zombie baby was an excellent idea, actually. Someone becomes pregnant before becoming a zombie, and then is tied down until the baby can be delivered once they become one.

Good idea, with bad execution.

I thought it died when the father in the Exorcist falls from the window....what? that was stupid.

The death of piggy is so much better in the book...you should read it.

The exorcist's ending was completely necessary, I think.

filmmaker2 04-29-2006 06:20 AM

In the remake of Cat People, that David Bowie song coming out of the cat's mouth for no reason. That part sucked!!

About David Bowie...The Hunger was a waste of my time. I rented it only because he was in it (since he's perfection and all...) and he becomes all wrinkly only after 10 minutes. I was sad.

I didnt like the ending of the Exorcist. but that's just me I suppose.

psssst....piggy died the same way in the book, only without the terrible acting/effects

DarkIcon 04-30-2006 12:10 PM

The Village. All of it.

Ok, seriously:
*spoiler warning*
In Hostel where the maimed girl kills herself. I was like...what the hell did he risk his life to SAVE her for!?! Stupid bitch! She could have at least done something important in those few extra minutes she got to live (... like, I don't know, save the main character's life or something) but no, she was just luggage. Ugly luggage at that.

I'll agree to a certain extent. Up until the ending, I thought The Village was a decent movie. I really like films set in that time period. That crappy ass twist-for-the-sake-of-a-twist ending damn near ruined the whole movie for me though.

lovecraft 04-30-2006 01:00 PM

THe end of The Forgotten. Good Build up-but I wanted more.

She did save his life. She sacrificed herself so that it would draw attention away from the train, letting that dude escape.

He was saying he liked the fact that the movie was set in the past, and the fact that the crappy twist ending made it present day is what ruined it.

Posher778 04-30-2006 01:12 PM

Dude, put a spoiler warning... That's the point...
