Neither, as well. Here in "The South", every soft drink is called "Coke."

Agreed. Give me a beer any day. Its all natural and GOD put it on this earth to be enjoyed. Thank you GOD.

In the upper midwest we call it 'pop', but I've traveled around the country quite a bit and I know that we are in the minority.

I picked 'pop' even though I don't really call it that any more just because that's what most people here call it.

I went to college in upstate NY and my friends used to beat me up if I called it pop...so needless to say, I now call it soda. Only now I don't fear for my life... :D

On the beer subject, i believe it was Ben Franklin who said:
"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us tobe happy."

He was a smart man, that ben. That quote is hanging from a plaque in the Redhook Brewery and Restauraunt about 10 minutes from where i live :)

Well...I'm not in the "upper midwest"...But, here in Northern Kentucky, we call it "Pop"
