Hello everyone. Just thought I'd introduce myself to the board.
I've just recently become a big fan of horror movies and I'm trying to build a collection of dvds. I usually browse the various horror forums for opinions and info on horror dvds and up and coming movies. So far this seems like the coolest one i've visted.
Anyway... Just wanted to say Hello to everyone.

And how did you "just recently" become a fan of horror movies? you cant just decide that you like them all of a sudden, it doesnt work that way. And now you want to start a dvd collection? you're the type of person that will buy lots of movies and watch none of them because your taste in movies will change.

Come back when you are an actual fan.

The newb part was a joke since I was obviously going to be called one anyway.
And how do you become a fan of something unless you're exposed to it? Yeah i've seen horror movies off and on since I was a child but I just recently started watching them alot. ( More than the average person, hence the term fan)

So anyway, I decided to come back right now, since I am a "real" fan.

wow. I had no idea that by saying i recently became a horror fan that i would get such negative response. how does anyone like anything without trying it? you don't? it's not like you're born a horror fan. yes, you are born with certain tastes and you like what you like but unless you try it you never know.
Anyway, by "recently" i meant within the last couple of years... not yesterday. It's not like i'm buying horror dvd to impress people, that doesn't make sense.
okay, i'm done with that. I'm a new to this forum but not horror in general, I shouldn't have to prove myself to anyone.

That's no problem. I really didn't mind the spamming, I was just surprised at a few people's implications that I was just deciding to be a "horror fan" to be cool or whatever.
But, I'm over that. It's all cool.:D
