Well I don't believe in either......at least as most people think of them. I do believe there is a universal energy, and that is now being proven by scientists like Stephan Hawking. They have found out that there is an energy that occupies a huge amount of space in the universe. I read about this in Omni Mag. I think that is where we originate from, and go back to when we change form at death.

Just so you know, just because you believe that there is a Satan and Hell, does NOT mean you obey him or anything. I believe there is bot a Heaven and Hell, a God and a Devil (Satan).

You can't prove that something does not exist. It can't be done. I mean ... pink unicorns, purple people eaters, leprechauns, fairies, the Easter Bunny ... etc. Not one have them have been proven to be nonexistant. Do you believe in these things, too? I think it is better to NOT believe something until it is proven to be.

The interesting part is that this is a long standing theory of spiritualists who practice OBE (out of body experiences) and lucid dreaming. It would be HUGE if this theory is confirmed, because your practically confirming the rest of our theories about the energy body.

I really believe that is possible! If you look up String theory etc. on the web, you will find that there is a lot of scientific study supporting that idea. Lately they have been studying Tibetan monks in deep meditation states as well, and have found some interesting answers to what happens to their brains during that state, interesting!

Love this topic, and could have an endless discussion about it. I like to look up things like this and explore the information! :D

Man has always created gods, rather than his gods creating him.
And man sees these gods as terrifying and vengeful. Through the advancement of science, we are coming to understand, scientifically, that god doesn't exist. Freidrich Neitzsche said god was dead, and through science, we are coming to this conclusion.

This is true but it depends on your concept of god. Some people, Christians too, believe that god is a life force, or universal energy........this is supported by science. I think the old concept of god will eventually diminish, and science will incorporate itself more and more into our belief system.

I don't mean things that we create as in technology.

I think we are starting to have the ability to understand the true nature of ourselves and the universe, and how we all fit in.

It is amazing that we have come that far.
We dreamed about gods when the universe was a mystery, and we thought that ever act of nature was directed at us for any given reason. The idea just carried through.

I believe in both, and this will sound strange but I am a CHRISTIAN!! I have been told by some that I am going to hell for Smoking, Dressing in goth, LOVEING Horror movies, being mod for horror.com and so on. but i don't believe that.
