There are a lot of scary ones out there ... particularly in the insect species. But these bastards creep the living hell out of me ... especially if you just glimpse their faces hiding in the dark (like under some rocks or some shit.) Spooky. I nearly pissed myself at an aquarium once. Ladies and gentlemen, the moray eel!

not an animal, but I'd rather put my head in a hungry lions mouth, than hold one of these abominations.

I'm not afraid of any animal I could squish with my bare hands, so that eliminates the insects and spiders. I guess the animal I would hate to run into the most in the wild would be an ornary wolverine cornered and feeling threatened.

{I live in the upepr midwest so our selection of scary/dangerous animals is limited to bears, wolves, and wolverines. And since I've heard stories about wolverines taking on bears and winning, I had to go with them.}

What do you mean by "animal"? What makes you think those creatures that live different and are differnt then us "animals"? Just because they are different? Everyone and everthing is different in its own way. To these "animals" as you put them, we may be the animals and they may be the humans. If a animal could type, how much you bet he wouldn't put down "man" as the scairest animal? Man hunts down many of these so called creatures. So I say that "Man" is the scariest of animals.

Yeap, but still "scary" is not the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of them, you know... Anyway... The giant insects of millions of years ago... Don't ask me why, just don't like insects, hehe!

I don't know dude I would hate to run into one, I know we don't have them wild here but, to be in asia or something and run into one that would be pretty damn scary....

We have mountain lions here but they are rarely seen...
