Just got hold of this film, is it worth waiting till I'm awake properly to watch it, to concentrate?

or what the hell stay up late and view it cos it's a 'switch brain off' and view movie?

I thought Pitch Black was quite good, so hope this ones good.

pretty decent with good, not quite great but good fight scenes. keeps with the original story, and the villians are MUCH better this time around. Kinda has an "Aliens" feel to it as far as the set, etc. if ya wanna know more just ask, have it on Discreetly Videoed Disc already.

i saw that 10 minute preview on mtv a few weeks ago

one of the most retarded films ive seen in a while.. and i didnt even see it yet

but i oculd tell from the commercials it was crap. i mean come on, vin diesel. he named himself after car parts for christs sake

I chose the sleep option, was pretty knackered out, I'm off work today, so I'll watch it at my leasure.:)

watched it this afternoon, was pleasantly surprised with it. On the whole a good film, story, effects and characters were good. Glad to see they didnt stray from Riddicks original character. Fight scenes were good along with the CG worlds that created good atmosphere, especially Chrematoria.

The only thing that Vin Diessel was good at is breakdancing :rolleyes:

Why does everyone hate Vin Diesel? Please, enlighten me on this one.

He is no different from any other buff action actor that has came before him. You think Schwarzenneger can act worth a shit? How about Van Damme? Steven Segal (well, he's not buff, but he is a top notch martial artist that has starred in many action films)?

It's not even really about the acting, it's about the actors presence in these types of films, and about their attitude. You are disillusioning yourself if you think otherwise. And Vin Diesel has both.

I haven't seen Chronicles yet, but I plan on it, and it looks like a good action flick.
