Anyone see this? It was a movie by Fangoria, about a Japanese gameshow where people run through a maze and are chased by murderers....

The plot sounded very much like running man, but even Arnie's "Hercules in New York" was better. Even as cheesy horror flicks go, it was bad...

I admit, i laughed pretty hard at a couple of parts (the chick getting cut in half, the topless scene, the other chick getting her head cut off), but all in all, it was terrible. Anyone else siit through this?

I haven't heard of it. Thanks for the warning, though. I'm tired of watching turds.

i'll give you a hint of what it is like:

All of the "Americans" are played by Canadians

It is supposed to be a Japanese television show, so if you have ever seen Japanese tv, you know how awful it is....

The film quality is equal to that of Love Connection, so it doesnt even look like a movie, it looks like some retards running around with AV equipment they borrowwed from school.

The acting hangs somewhere between god-awful and extremely shitty.

And there is a tiny tiny nude scene. The heroine goe stopless, and it is easily the most laughable tit-scene in history. i think it was upposed to be sexy, but it failed, hardcore.

LoL Vod! Now you've got me wanting to rent it just for the laughs! And Japanese TV DOES suck. However, if you can catch an episode of MXC on SpikeTV, it is worth watching.

I've seen Battle Royale, it's good, not horror as such, but some good death scenes in it. I laughed quite a lot through it.

... I don’t think its band; I think no one is really happy about distributing it because of the theme of school kids killing each other ... that touches a pretty raw nerve in the USA
… I can imagine the Christian right having a field day if there was a killing in a school and they proved the kids had watched this … how ever it’s a great movie, well worth seeing and “Beat” is in it!!!!

Just read the whole thread....banned in the U.S????? That seriously takes it up the ass!!! ROBOCOP was way more violent, but I guess the theme of kids killing each other (especially after columbine) does not exactly float the censors boat. Anyway, if you reckon you can handle a FICTITIOUS film then, fuck em, buy it over the web. If you are a psycho, fuck off and watch something else!!!

Seriously, BR-top film...insane! brilliant! thought provoking!
