Contributing To The Database

I know that I am not the only one here who has noticed that our database is less than spectacular...As Horror.Com Members, it is our responsibility to contribute...I need your help...

I am going to be filling the database with links to information about some older or more obscure movies that many people may not know much about..So, If you can think of any movies that you have heard of, but really don't know anything about, and would LIKE to know more about...List them here...I do not want to fill the database with only the things that I am interested in...I am going to begin there with some that have been asked about here in the past...

Come on guys..I have seen many posts that say, "I've never heard of that movie"...Help contribute to Horror.Com's database...Give me those movie information requests...

jay o2 waster 06-19-2004 06:11 PM

Some good obscure movies: Pieces, Children Shouldn't Play with dead things, The undertaker and his pals, don't look in the basement, nail gun massacre, and a few more that i will post when i think of them

jay o2 waster 06-19-2004 06:15 PM

whats up with the data base anyways, when i click it, nothing happens?

bloodrayne 06-19-2004 06:23 PM

Thanks...Those are a really good start...This stupid dialup is slowing me down...But, I am working on it...I appreciate the help:)

Jay...I believe you are speaking of the MAIN database...Horror is in charge of that...I have no information about it...I am working on the database at the bottom of the front forum page, below Contributor's Cornor...That is the one that the members are responsible for

jay o2 waster 06-19-2004 06:28 PM

oh, ok, i am lookin up movies right now for ya

...Thanks again Jay...Everyone can post their links and information to movies that they think others would be interested in, and may not have heard of...Post them in the database

bwind22 06-19-2004 06:53 PM

Jay, I see you mentioned Pieces... Good call! That movie was a totally pleasent surprise for me because I wasn't really expecting much from it.

Another good one is Truth or Dare. (Not the Madonna movie.) Truth or Dare has got to be one of the cheesiest/cool films ever made! It's hilarious! If you haven't seen this one, go check it out!

I'll try to think of more...

bloodrayne 06-19-2004 07:10 PM

Okay...I already ran into a problem...When I found "Pieces"...There were listings for almost 10 different ones, with different years, one after the other...As I myself havent seen it...I'm not sure which one it is...One of you guys could post it, or tell me which year it is

Plaguewind 06-19-2004 07:14 PM

I'll think about it and let you know later...

bloodrayne 06-19-2004 07:16 PM

This is what I found...

1. Pieces (1997/I)
2. Pieces (1983)
3. Pieces (1997/II)
4. Pieces (1969)
5. Pieces (1998)
6. Pieces (1973)

bwind22 06-19-2004 07:20 PM

Pretty sure it was made in 1981. The director was Juan Piquer Simon I believe.

bwind22 06-19-2004 07:23 PM

my mistake. it's 1983. here's a link with some info....
