What movies are you looking forward to?

-Clerks 3
-Digging Up The Marrow (from the Hatchet writer/director)
-Horns
-Krampus
-Moose Jaws
-The Pyramid
-Rampage 3 (not on IMDB but Uwe Boll said it in an interview)
-Tusk
-V/H/S: Viral
-WolfCop
-Zombeavers

That's all I can think of right now.

horcrux2007 09-19-2014 06:16 PM

V/H/S Viral actually looks really good! I hope it's as good as V/H/S/2.

Angra 09-19-2014 06:33 PM

A lot. But soon to come out:

The Maze Runner
Tusk
Hector and the Search for Happiness

I'll wait for Tusk to come out on DVD to see it because it looks somewhat entertaining. I didn't really like The Maze Runner novel too much. Hector and the Search for Happiness just kinda looks like another road trip movie.

Damn Heathen 09-19-2014 07:52 PM

Annabelle
Cooties
Creature Feature
Goosebumps
Kitchen Sink
Krampus
Night of the Gnomes
Pacific Rim 2
Poltergeist
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Scouts vs. Zombies
The Anklebiter
The Demon's Rook
The Old Hag Syndrome
The Ring 3D
Trick 'r Treat 2
WolfCop

I was anticipating (1) Halloween until I heard it was a continuation of the RZ nonsense and (2) F13 until I heard the producers hired a shaky-cam director.

Damn Heathen 09-19-2014 08:45 PM

The upcoming Frankenstein adaptation w/ D. Radcliffe intrigues me. It varies greatly from most popular adaptations and has a very appealing theme.

Elvis_Christ 09-19-2014 10:25 PM

Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films
Wolfcop
Deadpool

Anthropophagus 09-20-2014 01:53 AM

From the list i have seen here hardly any float my boat.

Horns,VHS and Wolfcop all look shitty to me,but as i have said before i hope to be proven wrong.

Oh god, Avatar was just Pocahontas with blue people. I hated it.

CreepyCarrie 09-20-2014 08:52 AM

Annabelle
Jessabelle
Ouija
Amityville: The Awakening
Poltergeist remake
Honeymoon
The Houses October Built
The Town That Dreaded Sundown
The Final Girls
Insidious: Chapter 3
The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist
Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension

...plus quite a few others that I've read about that should be coming out in the next year or so...I think this next year looks good for movies.

I loved it myself, I really enjoy most of Cameron's work.

The only movie I can really say I loved from James Cameron was Aliens. Terminator and T2 were pretty good, and Titanic was alright. James Cameron has never really been one of my favorites.

roshiq 09-20-2014 10:02 AM

Interstellar
Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak
Annabelle
Jessabelle
The Babadook

I actually really loved all of those films. They are some of my favorite films and Cameron is one of my favorite directors actually. There is no film he made that I have seen I did not like (though I have not seen Piranha 2 yet).

Finally someone who agrees with me. What an overrated piece of crap

metternich1815 09-20-2014 02:54 PM

Personally, I have never understood that criticism. I agree that the Pocahontas story was certainly an inspiration for the picture, but to say that that was all it was is a vast oversimplification. There was much more to that film than that. It is quite popular, but most people have no idea about why it is good. Many of them tend to just like the action and the "blue people".

horcrux2007 09-20-2014 03:01 PM

I really thought the movie was extremely boring, and there wasn't much that I hadn't seen before.

I enjoyed it as an "experience" to watch in the theater (gorgeous!) but the story was incredibly contrived and lame. Don't need to see it again.

And, I was sorta looking forward to Tusk, but might wait on that one.
And I might see Annabelle this weekend. Not expecting it to be amazing, but it could be okay.

Have you read the book Horns? It's really fantastic and my favorite Joe Hill book.

And yes I'm still excited about Tusk despite the the brat spoiling it for me. ::wink::

Baron Von Marlon 10-03-2014 06:28 AM

Horns is leaked online in good quality.
Might see it tonight if I can find any subtitles.

Yes that I'll give it

I am waiting for phantasm V to come out. That is the only phantasm I am missing.

Sculpt 10-03-2014 01:46 PM

I'm looking forward to Oblivion 2014 becoming available to rent. Missed it at the theatre. Looks like Groundhog Day meets... I don't know, Ender's Game.
