Ok Ive been hearing alot 'bout this FreddyFan guy...was he really that bad? What did he do? Is he really under investigation? Unfortunatly, he was a little before my time...

well... i would offer insight if i could but i'm one of those new shits that people like to scrape off of their shoe and dispose of like dog excrement....

I feel I'm not much more than this here yet, so I'd better stay silent on the matter too...

OK, heres what happen:

FreddyFan posted threats to shoot and/or stab people at school. AllMyKids called the FBI and told them about it. Turns out he was not kidding. The FBI got him, I believe they got him at school, he had a weapon on him and he told them if they wouldn't of stoped him he was going to go through with his threats. He said that if they didnt have stopped him, he really was going to kill some people.

does that mean he won't be posting here anymore?..

yet again.. his love of horror movies will probably be to blaim...

The ACTUAL facts
 

Freddyfan was around 13 at the time, and for around two to three weeks prior to the "incident", had said many things that indicated he was having some issues at school, mostly from people treating him in a derogatory manner, teachers in particular.
One day he came in and posted that he "couldn't take it anymore", and that he was going to "end it", and "PROBABLY hurt a lot of people", including any law enforcement sent in to apprehend him.
He actually seemed very upset by something, anyone who had spoken to him in the few weeks beforehand would've clearly seen this.
There were no direct threats made, "shooting" never even came into it, nor were his desired methods shared with anyone.
AMK contacted some local law enforcement, and then THEY referred it to the fbi. He was apprehended the next morning at school before anything even happened, and a small knife was found in his backpack.
Had AMK not done this, he may have in fact landed himself in a much worse situation than he is now.
He never went to jail.
He was questioned, given counselling, and was placed under house arrest, with no computer priviledges, although I am not aware for how long.

He wasn't some psycho asshole, again, those who have spoken to him would know that, I still don't even think he had honest intentions to do it - I think he just wanted to be heard.

Friday 13th fan IS his good friend, and would most likely be aware of his present situation, but don't go asking him questions if you didn't even know freddyfan, I've told you all you need to know here.

This made the news, and, naturally, we were shortly flooded with all manner of "blame horror" idiots, and OBVIOUSLY a few gossip hounds.

Freddy Krueger, I don't know where the bullshit started, but in future, if anyone asks, ^THIS^ is what actually happened.

He's had his name dragged through the mud enough aleady.

Glad it wasn't that serious, just a little kid, like the kids I work with. Had the same threats from one of mine this year!

you know.. it's a shame that a kid goes through all kinds of crap and is depressed... and happens to enjoy horror as an escape ... and people blaim things on that.. school these days is a really dangerous place because nothing is done for kids that obviously have problems.. you can tell when someone is having a problem.. all of those teachers that say they never noticed... weren't paying attention.. teachers don't pay attention and they should...

You are so right, our school just wants to pass them off. They want me to withdraw them so they don't have to arrange for special needs funding. If I withdraw them they usually have to find another school.

Great job on the facts. I didn't know all that, then again I came along right about when that all happen. Anyway, good job. Vampeguin, thats what REALLY happen. Oh, and call me "Freddy" or "Fred". No need for the "Krueger" because everyone know's who you're talking about. Mainly because beisdes Freddy_Krgr, I'm the only Freddy on this site. And Krgr doesn't post much, so I'm probley better known.
