I was pleasently surprised by the first, but the second was fucking stupid. I don't think I'll be seeing any more Harry Potter movies.

Not to be rude but your only what 14 and to say its just kids is bull crap i know alot of adults that love these things. i myself enjoy the movies infact i find them more entertaining the LOTR but thats just my opinion

one thing for you guys to know Harry potter gets darker a lot darker per book ive read the 5th book and its very dark i cant wait till the next harry potter movie because i was a fan when i was in 6th grade im in 10th now and i figure why quite being a fan of something just because your age. now dont get me wrong Barneys still a purple mother fucking piece of shit damn i even have the show blocked on my television. yah they should have a freddy vs barney just so you can see that purple faggot get teared to shreads hahaha

Actualy im 15 and I meant kids as in 7 years old kids and I said friends which could refer to adults and Harry Potter shouldnt even be used in the same sentence as Lord of the Rings.

I also found them more entertaining than the LOTR series....

how should they not .there both about wizards and other types of myths and legends also i didnt mean to imply that LOTR wasnt good cause it was its a much better directed film along with acting its just that i find HP more entertaining

Lord of the Rings is excelent and a series that should and will be remembered for years to come just like Star Wars but Harry Potter will just go down hill just like pokemon and other crazes like that.

If I was only gonna see ONE out of all the harry potter series, it'd probably be #3, being my favourite book. You're right about them getting slightly darker, but IMHO, the series took a dive after the third book, compensating for weak storyline with extra pages...

i will be seeing this one as i have seen the third. however my father is retired navy so my whole family is dependents. up until age 22 i get all the benefits, including free movies on base

I read the books in order, the when I get done, I start over. I love Harry Potter books. There's just something about them. The movies are iffy because they sometimes arent very faithful to the books. I think that even without the books, they are quality movies.

I would have seen it today (the day it comes out) but all the nearby theatres are all sold out. So I'll just wait a while.
