whats the dumbest thing that you have ever been scared by in a movie?

for me its the fact that i can predict most movies and when i am really wrong something like a door opening will scare me for some reason

whats the matter is everyone to scared that something dumb scares them

honestly and this aplies to all these things its not really a scare factor but more of a spook factor

I wasn't scared of this, but I know some people who was scared and I think it was stupid to be scared of it: the zombie's from Night of the Living Dead. I mean, really, it is stupid to be scared of something walking around with it's arm's out moaning "brains". I mean, really, its just plain stupid.

the ones in NotLD don't say anything. They moan brains in Return otLD. Besides, you don't fuck with zombies. Notice that it's zombieS, plural. A zombie isn't a problem. Sure, if it sneaks up on you and bites you, then you're fucked. But zombieS are fucking scary. Because if there's more than one, there's 60 million of them. There's no "couple of zombies", it's either one or a swarm. Sure you can outrun A zombie (or at least you could before they started turning into Steve Prefontaine), but you can't outrun all of them.

To be truthful I am never really scared by horror movies but I still enjoy them.

i agree with him, just not with the spelling. a case of seeing too many films, especially at a young age.

Oh. I never was too good with the Zombie movie names. Anyway, I wouldn't be running. Frist, I would get prepaired. I would have a Tommy Gun, Shotgun, Chainsaw, Handgun. With the Tommy Gun I would be shotting at their heads. Not even the Living Dead can be moble without a brain. Even though they can't die (even when ashes) they can't move without a brain to guide them (and we all know why they can't move if they're ashes. There was one good Zombie movie, but I can't remember it. This kids farther works in this Gov. thing and they are making zombies to use for war and stuff. His girl-friend snaps her neck in a motor cycling accident and dies. She comes back to life because the boy gives her some of that stuff that revives the dead. Anyway, with the Shotgun I would be blow their heads clear off their shoulders. Then, once the number of Zombies has lowered, with the Chainsaw I would run right at 'em chopping everyone I can. Incase something happen's to the Chainsaw I will pull out the Handgun and shot 'em in the head. If I'm out of ammo but they're not all "dead", I wont go easily. This is where 4 days a week in the GYM for years pays off. Since with a dead body, the flesh is easier to cut, so with one mighty blow, I can knock their fuckin' head off. I know that in some movies their body's can move without the brain, but if they were real, it would be impossible. Hell, it would be impossible for the dead to come back to life, but still. Nothing can move properly without a brain. A snakes body may move without it's head attached, but thats because the last nerves going through-out its body.

To "ne"? Whatever. I'm never scared either, but I too still enjoy them. I'm not scared because I've been watching Horror for as long as I can remember. Nothing really scares me because of it. Boy, does that make my friends mad. They're always trying to scare me on Halloween and stuff. Once my friend Talon dressed up like Jason; raggy clothes, real machete, hockey mask, and he's tall, but he had to use some fluffy stuff to make him look bigger. I was watching the new nightmare movie (back when this happen, New Nightmare came out like a few days ago) and he turned off the T.V. I didnt know what happen (he used an extra remote. And he toke the batteries out of mine.). I started to get up to turn it back on manualy and then I saw him standing behind be through the picture screen of the T.V. like an mirror. I spun around and punched him so hard he dropped to the floor. I grabbed a knife and was about to stab him but then he toke off his mask. So then I just beated him up and tied him up to a tree for two days. He desived it... trying to scare me...

I'm sucha evil little bastard. :D

In an unrelated subject-All the mistakes in this forum are driving me insane. It SERIOUSLY needs some more mods. I mean this is in he wrong forum and there was double posting and agggggh ::brain aneurysm::.

Fuck that noise, you wouldn't be prepared. NOBODY is prepared for friggen zombies. Unless you're a gun nut. And btw, your preparations suck ass. You don't use that many single-fire or close-range weapons. ONE single-fire weapon is fine (the shotgun I guess), and something as close-range as a chainsaw is iffy. You'd run out of gas, and extra cartridges are a lot easier to carry than a thing of gas, so ditch the chainsaw. And who the fuck has a TOMMY GUN anymore? If you're going to prepare, you get an M-16, an Uzi, you either buy your you MacGuyver together a flamethrower, and a Sniper rifle for your single-shot weapon. But this is, of course, all bullshit because (again, unless you're a gun nut) you're never prepared for a fucking zombie invasion.

I definatly agree, It really pisses my friends off when they're screaming, and I start laughing at them......I just got a great idea for a thread!!!!!!!.......anyway, as I said(Well, Freddy said, you know what I mean) I dont get scared by movies. Thats why I cant believe I was scared by the alien in Signs. I look back at at ad think......WTF!?!

Nothing in a movie scares me as I'm watching it. I don't even jump at the sudden noises/actions. However, I don't criticize the people who are opposite of me. I actually think I'd have more fun if I WAS affected.

I tell you I was not scared by this but I was suprise to the point I a most fell out of my seat. Do you remeber the part in 28 days later when Jim first got out of the hospital and was looking for someone anybody. Well he was walking along and he saw that car in the street and he walked up to it and the alarm went off, I almost jumped out of my seat.

On the old vampire women thing, anyone ever seen the version of dracula that came out in '79? Ity had donald pleasance in it. Anyway, there is a part where the blonde chick gets turned into a vampire, dies, they bury her, and then go rooting around for her to "end" her, there is a glimpse of her reflection in a puddle. That scene always made me piss just a little. She is fucking freaky looking.

in the original the haunting when the doctor's wife appears in the doorway at the top of that spiral staircase-that i jumped at. the remake of that movie really sucked

Funny true story.... I was 8 or 9, it was around halloween. My sister was good freinds with the sister of one of my freinds, so we were both spending the night over at their place.


Halloween 2 was on tv. Me and my freind were bragging that we werent afraid. To prove it, we were going to stand directly infront of the tv when the movie came back on, and not run away or close our eyes.

The present commercial ended, and something pooped onto the screen. We both screamed bloody murder, and ran across the living room, jumped clear over the coffee table, and buried our heads under pillows obn the couch, in mortal fear that michael meyers would reach out of the tv and tear our souls out.


We heard l;aughing, and looked up to find our suisters giggling and pointing. We had run in fear froma pampers commercial....

Certain parts of horror movies scare me, but not like piss my pants scared. lol
one example is John Carpenters Thing, where Kurt Russel is checkin the blood and that little unexpected screech.... that made me jump lol.

Yeah, I remember so many people freaking out during that scene. Little bitches. Thats a great DVD.

Tommy Gun's arnt that hard to get where I live, but they are limited and pretty high in price. And, yes, I'm a Gun Nut. I have lots of guns. Like the guy from Tremors. And I'll take a lot of weapons because normaly on Zombie outbreaks theres a lot of zombies everywhere, and theres a graveyard on the next steet from my house. And just one puny weapon is never going to NOT go out of Ammo. So I bring a lot of weapons. A handgun mainly for close-up shooting. And I'll carry the chainsaw for two reasons: 1. it isnt heavy to me, easy to carry and not in the way. 2. I always wanted to chop "humans" up with a chainsaw. A Sniper Gun? No, no, no, no. You use a Sniper Rifle/Gun from a far off distance. I like to jump right into the battle, so a Sniper Rifle wouldnt do me any good. But a flamethrower would be a neat weapon. Burn those dead bitches.
