The Count Orloff Show! Horror Host with the Most.

Here's something some of you might like! Back in 1989, a short while before creating special makeups for "What's Eating GIlbert Grape" and "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare," I helped produce "The Count Orloff Show." This was intended as a public access "horror host" type show. We finished the pilot episode, and as far as I know, it never aired. Most of the video was lost over time but a few small portions remain. Have fun!

Glad you enjoy it...the show as you see it here only got as far as the pilot. But Count Orloff as a character is still flitting about in the ether...he has popped up here and there on the net from time to time. Perhaps he will appear again soon!

Thanks guys! :)

Yeah, we were trying to get our Tex Avery on there for a minute, with the eyes popping, tongue sticking out, etc. ...

Hey thanks!

Nearby on that same Youtube page, you can find segments of the 1988 film THE MASTER DEMON, for more crabapple fun. Crabapple did a bunch of cheesy makeup effects for that one, and a much younger crabby, in a business suit, no less, plays a museum tour guide who doesn't like "pictures"...THE MASTER DEMON was trying to be a no-budget "homage" to "Big Trouble In Little China" and even features a number of the martial arts fighting guys from that film. We filmed it all over Los Angeles, and generally ate spaghetti or baloney sandwiches for lunch. A great time. ;)
