What does everyone think of the new Catwoman movie starring Halle Berry?

I think it looks stupid as hell....although.....Berry does look hot in the Catwoman outfit! Who knows maybe she'll pop out a nipple like Janet Jackson

Looks like its going to try to be way to funny. I'm not a big comic book fan, so I dont know, maybe the comic was funny.

Starting to wonder if Hollywood will soon make movies exclusively from older better movies, 70's sitcoms, comic books, video games...wait thats pretty much the way it is already...

yeah i guess it is pretty horrific that someone would make a Catwoman movie, yet alone make Halle Berry the star

its rediculous if we started putting white people in the roles of shaft or cleopatra jones it wouldnt get made. so imo this film shouldnt either

yeah can you imagine if say Bruce Willis was casted as Shaft
or if Drew Barrymoore was cast as Cleopatra Jones

I saw a new preview for Catwoman when I went to see Spiderman 2 and now I can say it really looks good. I guess we will see.

I think Catwoman looks awful. When I saw the trailer where she hissed at a dog and got excited at the smell of catnip, I knew it was gonna blow.

I'm a big fan of Comic movies (Spider Man 2 was awesome) but it seems to me that apart from the first Batman movie that all of the DC comic movies suck. I've enjoyed all the Marvel comics movies so far....well Hulk was little boring.

god,this movie looks horrible! im a huge comic book fan and i dont know how they could ruin the story of catwomen.If you hear the story plot then you will recognize how similar it is to The Crow except with cats.I dont know about you guys but im going to make the day Catwomen comes out "National Go See Spider-man 2 again day"

Yeah, I noticed the Crow similarities too. I don't know why film makers don't just stick to the comic's origins and stories when making movies. It seems to be working for the current Marvel movies. Oh well...maybe the new Batman will be better. I won't hold my breath. :(

Gary Oldman is in the new batman as Commissioner Gordon....'nough said....oh and Christian Bale of course....

Heheh....when I first read your post I just scanned over the name Gary Oldman and I thought I read Gary Coleman. LOL!
Anyway...I don't have much hope for the new Batman movie but I'll reserve judgement untill I find out a little more about it.
I read a little about the Elektra movie...looks like it will be good.
Guess I'll just make mine Marvel. :)

I just got back from Catwoman and I was very surprised by it. I thought that it was actually very good. Plus, they make a reference in the movie, which allows it to get away without Michelle Pfeiffer. OVerall, not the greatest movie ever, but it was still very enjoyable to watch.
