Well, the end of Underworld was begging for a sequel, anybody know if one has been announced? If there is, post links to any site telling about it!

Yeah theres a sequel with Kate Beckinsdales hubby directing once again ... I hate the way she is so English in a way that no English people really are!!!!

i would like to stand up on behalf of english people......

Well ok. I'm only going to see the movie because I am a horror fanatic and love horror movies old and new so anything new, sequels and so forth and you can count that I'll be there.

Great movie and Kate is hot-hot-hot but I do wish they would BALLS up the vampires in the next one.

Well I think that they are already balled up and I think that there should be more action in this one there was plenty in the first one but the sequel is supposed to be more exciting.

cool I love this movie but in the scond movie I expect to see more blood

2 Seperate sequels have been annouced both of which Kate and Scott have both signed on for.

This is true...Underworld is going to be made into a trilogy, and both main characters have signed on for it...I just hope that they can live up to their expectations..

Thank you!! Every movie this movie stole from is better than underworld....the action was subpar, the werewolfs, give me a break.....and how dramatic is kate bakinsale pushing open two very big gothic doors time and time again:rolleyes:

Im not dissing any English people. Besides James Bond is english and he's the best man on the planet. The only thing im dissing is underworld (Im not even going to capatalize it like i do other movies). It was so borring. My girlfriend and I fell asleep during the thing. Then a couple days latter i said to myself "well Ill watch it again just to see if I maybe missed anything good." An hour latter i said to myself "No wounder i fell asleep."

Ha...another one i never get tired of hating...

omg comeon van helsing sucked i mean it was ok. not not good enough. seriously on my list of movies that one is prob rant 6 to last. and there are alot of movies on my list. now underworld was a very good movie. one of the best vampire movies in along time exept blade. blade is better

I saw underworld for the first time about 2 days ago. The plotline was confusing and didn't make a whole hell of a lot of sence...it WAS boring in most parts containing dialogue. The characters were 2 dimensional as hell, and the main characters appeared to fall in love without any apparent reason at all.
As for the action, it was pretty tame, and borrowed from FAR too many modern action films.
There were some potentially interesting ideas in this film...they just didn't do it right.

I can see why young people (17 & < )might like this movie...it being all flashy action...but yeah, overall, I myself was bored, I didn't hate it, I just don't think I'd boter watching it again.

Along with Van Helsing, it was another film I wouldn't call horror whatsoever apart from certain borrowed horror icons...more of an "adventure" but, for the record, Van Helsing did it with WAY more style.
If you wanna see a "light" action/adventure film along the same lines as these two but a little funnier, get yourself a copy of the oldskool fun that is "Monster Squad"...gotta love it.

Just to stay on topic, I'll say that although I'm not particularly looking foward to UW2, I'm sure I'll end up seeing it at some point.

I hope the sequel is going to be better because Underworld was okay but nothing to shout about imo. I do have to say Kate B is one sexy hot vampire......she can bite me any time :D

Any "Underworld" fans who like to read and can't wait for the next movie, may want to check out a new paperback novel called "Underworld:Blood Enemy" by Greg Cox. It's a prequel to the movie.
