Welcome. What kinds of horror films do you like.

myteemouth 10-02-2011 08:39 AM

Usually the stuff other people call "bad"-all the eco-nightmares from the 70's, the Euro-cannibal movies/one of my favorites is from Rene Cardona Jr "The Bermuda Triangle" also modern movies -Insidious kept me up nights

ManchestrMorgue 10-03-2011 04:43 AM

pretty much the kind that make my fiance ask me "what the hell is wrong with you?"--stuff most people think is bad-Cannibal Holocaust is one of my favorites for example

Pariah. 10-05-2011 05:48 AM

Really, you like the "What the hell is wrong with you?" response? I've been getting it for nearly 20 years and I am so over it. :P

Have you seen the MASTERS OF HORROR feature episode JENNIFER?

It is quite good if you're into freaky cannibalism.

myteemouth 10-05-2011 06:05 AM

I saw that-I never got into Masters of Horror too much-and as far as the comment we've known each other almost 20 years Im used to it-when you watch movies like "The Bermuda Triangle " by Rene Cardona Jr and "The Machine Girl" you tend to get uset to it-I just tell him be glad Im not asking you to sit here and watch it

Pariah. 10-05-2011 06:08 AM

I haven't seen either of those films? Wanna hit me up with a tiny summary and if they're worth me looking up?

The Bermuda Triangle(1978)-On a hunt for ancient ruins in the triangle on the Black Whale III , and archaeologist and his family become victims of strange forces. It's pretty good-there's the ugliest scariest meat eating doll Ive ever seen plus there's interesting fictional recreations of actual disapearances

The Machine Girl-When her brother Yu is murdered by son of the Yakuza's gang, Ami vows revenge losing her arm in the process -with the help of another victims parents she gets a replacement -a machine gun-there is more blood in this movie than in anything Ive ever seen -Nobiru Iguchi also made Tokyo Gore Police and Robogeisha-also pretty good

Pariah. 10-05-2011 06:28 AM

Haha, I'll check out the Bermuda Triangle for sure. Its always fascinated me in real life but I'm going to throw old machine gun arm girl on the pile of "stuff to get to later." ;)

Asian horror isnt my scene. :)

myteemouth 10-05-2011 06:31 AM

I hope you enjoy it

Pariah. 10-05-2011 06:33 AM

Me too. Are you also Australian?

It seems like we are the only ones using the forum at this time.

myteemouth 10-05-2011 06:36 AM

no Im an American

Pariah. 10-05-2011 06:37 AM

Youre just up late/early? Okay. :)

I'm trying to think of other cannibalistic gore-fests I've seen that you might enjoy or may have already seen but I'm drawing a blank.

myteemouth 10-05-2011 06:39 AM

well it's almost 10am here Im usually up early

hammerfan 10-05-2011 06:50 AM

Most of the members that are on the east coast have jobs that preclude them from being here during weekdays. I'm not one of them. If I'm not on here a lot, it means either I'm busy or the boss is here. Right now, he's out of town and I have nothing to do.

myteemouth 10-05-2011 06:53 AM

well as Domestic Goddess/Dog Food Giver Person Im usually around off and on throughout the day

Pariah. 10-05-2011 06:58 AM

myteemouth 10-05-2011 07:02 AM

I've always loved the title Domestic Goddess. Doesn't apply to me, but I've always loved it! LOL!!

I love all animals, but I am owned by two cats.

TheWickerFan 10-05-2011 08:22 AM

A somewhat belated welcome aboard.:)

myteemouth 10-05-2011 08:29 AM
