But answer this - Why would you come back when all that's been going on since you were modded had been one OBVIOUSLY jealous and sore little prick after another has done nothing but complain and disrespect you, saying how much of a better job they would be doing (yeah...RIGHT) ?

And you newb - If the mods here had the amount of power that ANY mod should have (Mad props to horror - NOT), these kind of threads COULD be deleted, and the people who make shitty unproductive theads and start fights or continue old ones COULD be banned for more than five minutes.
So...what makes a "decent" mod to you?
Arioch is one of the only people in here who's pretty much impartial and unbiased towards most of you, and right now, that's as good as it's gonna get.

DEFINATELY began before said banning incident occured.
I'm not trying to defend or persecute anyone, as I don't have the full details of the whole situation, nor do I want to have to revisit the topic yet again (that's your job), but certain people who very obviously thought they were "tha shit" started in on her almost immidiately.
From my take on things, these people have expressed their own interest in "modding", and have also had prior "run-ins" with AMK...I've been here, I've seen these things - some of these altercations seeming to come out of nothing more than association/friendship with others who have a problem with her(Now who could that be?), and, of course, pride-driven jealousy..such behaviour, alliances and clear potential bias towards certain people...just not "becoming" of potential moderator/s.
Obviously the person with the final say in the matter has similar views, hence the current moderation "team", if you can call it that.

I don't personally agree with a person who has been designated a position leaving before finding a suitable replacement - this is fucking irresponsible behaviour, and I don't give a fuck who's toes I'm stepping by saying it.
Nor do I think a person should relinquish their duties solely on their popularity, or be influenced to do so by somebody who has clearly (And I don't give half a shit WHO started it) had a problem with them for some time.

Agreed with the biases of potential moderators. But if your referring to me being in agreement with Evis's banning because he is not unbanned, and that just may be the way i read that:confused: , but its not that. I actually did everything in my power to unban him, but alas, we (amk and i) cannot unban, or set a bans time period, only the Admin can do that, another bit of restriction i dont think we need. I mean if we can ban, doesnt it only make sense that we should be able to UNBAN? i dunno, maybe its just me...

But in response, i did pm horror about it and try to get him to unban Evis, but i dont think he gave a shit.

I haven't been around in a while. I hate that Evis was banned. I never had a problem with him. However, like Cheeba, I don't know the circumstances, so all I can do is be kinda sad.

- Was referring to horror, having made his decision to mod yourself and amk as opposed to the other people who have expressed an interest that fall into the more "biased" categorie, and the "team" bit was just referring to amk's recent actions, or lack thereof.

Try not to read too much into what I say, it's usually a pretty strightfoward case of "it is what it is" with me...

Sure a lot of people gave AMK crap. with good reason. how is it that someone who disappeared from the site, whose last posts were 'theres nothing good on here anymore!! there's nothing good to post on!!' alll of a sudden become mod?

but she DID do a good job. i told her that, and so did several others.

but then the whole evis thing... now THAT was ridiculous. if she can prove that all 10 of those people were evis, fine. but like stated above, when asked about it she got up and LEFT

I am sure that the reason that she left was because she knew that she banned the wrong person. And ok, just appoligize, and unban him. We forgive. But know, instead she just ups and leaves.
