Kudos to you for using that screenshot where that girl even managed to make eating an apple menacing.

I will need help from IMDB for my birth year so I don't miss anything important out.

Fearonsarms 07-17-2011 08:01 AM

Unsurprisingly there are quite a few faves from my year 1981:

The Beyond
The Evil Dead
An American Werewolf In London
Scanners
Possession
Halloween 2
Friday The 13th Part 2
The Burning
Dead and Buried
Nightmares In A Damaged Brain (this is only one I've listed that is so bad its good)
Student Bodies
Burial Ground
The Monster Club
The Black Cat
House By The Cemetry
Evilspeak
Don't Go Into The Woods.

ABjerg 07-17-2011 08:46 AM

Puppetmaster
Tales from the Crypt - the tv series it at least started in 89
The Burbs

Despare 07-17-2011 10:44 AM

As far as the best... I guess I'd have to give the nod to The Shining.

1980

The Villain 07-17-2011 10:50 AM

1986:

Aliens
Critters
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer
The Hitcher
Troll
Maximum Overdrive
Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2

Not that many good ones, Aliens is probably the winner out of that group.

Damn, 1986 had better movies. I'm an old man now ! Like the Jane's Addiction album "Nothings Shocking".

The Villain 07-18-2011 08:51 PM

I get you. I feel myself becoming kinda jaded too. I really miss how i used to look at horror movies as a kid.

Yeah, I love Vamp. I've always thought it was a shame that it doesn't get more recognition.

Fearonsarms 07-20-2011 09:48 AM

I loved Vamp as a kid I should check it out again and see what I think as an adult.

I saw it a very long time ago and enjoyed it. Since I haven't seen it lately, I don't know if it stands up to the test of time.
