The Descent

If you want something recent try Heartless (2009) and Salvage (2009)
|
The Pete Walker are a great watch.
As well as Hammer which was already mentioned, Amicus made some great anthology films and theres also Tigon as well (who did Witchfinder General with AIP), The Sorcerers and Blood on Satan's Claw. But since you find The Wicker Man boring I'm not sure how good any of these will be to you. If you want some newer stuff then: Mum and Dad (excellent creepy disfunction family stuff) Dog Soldiers Creep Tony: London Serial Killer |

Really enjoyed House Of The Long Shadows but I've yet to see Pete Walker's other movies yet-look forward to seeing Frightmare and House Of Mortal Sin. It seems Die Screaming Marianne has mixed reviews though.
