The Howling II definitely deserved it......but it's so much fun to watch! Plus, my hero is in it!

the ghoulies was good fun,like most 80's horror, rubbish but fun.

Yeah I feel mean cos they are probably more tongue in cheek than trash but I think you enjoy them more when you're in on the joke.

I think Microwave Massacre was worse than most of these (although I enjoyed every moment of it :-D )

Piranha II was pretty awful.

Porno Holocaust I thought was more about the porn than the horror.

The Ghoulies were fun - nowhere near the worst of the decade.

Hobgoblins (1988) - Maddening watch.

Howling II: Your Sister Is A Werewolf (1985) - Worst in the franchise, and needs to be seen just for the awfulness alone.

The Ghoulies (1985) - Very entertaining. Not necessarily a turkey, but a trashy entertainer.

King Kong Lives (1986) - I must be in the minority for liking this ridiculous film. The whole premise is an eye-roller, but it definitely has some entertainment value.

Breeders (1986) - Again, a painful watch.

The Hills Have Eyes Part II (1985) - Utterly awful, but has some moments of fun.

Piranha Part II: The Spawning (1981) - Just watch it if you are an ardent fan of James Cameron. The effects will have you in splits.


Wouldn't call them duds. Some of them might be trashy, but most of those above provided pretty decent entertainment.

I've seen only this 4. As far I remember there's a pretty interesting repetitive scene at the end or the end title in Howling II.:D Forgot mostly about of KKL. HHEP2 wasn't so bad and the dog having a dream sequence was hilarious. If you show Piranha 2 (skipping the opening & end title ) to any kid today & ask them to guess who's the director with few options, I'm sure he/she can't guess it correctly at all.

Agree with V & I've seen these films & I'm not getting the idea why you have mentioned here as a trash. I also like them all & don't ever consider them as trashy or turkey.

Several on that list are top notch films.

What is this?Gang up on Fears day?I stand by what I said I enjoy the films mentioned only as entertainment value (IMO Monkey Shines and Manhatten Baby especially are gutter trash)I don't see one single iota of substance in any of them except maybe The Lair Of The White Worm which was at least based on the Bram Stoker book in terms of the mythology explored in it. I think you have all confused what I have said and applied your own meanings to it. SHEESH only Wickerfan seemed to understand what I was saying.
