Been enjoying throwing on mindless comedies lately so I'd like some recommendations of comedy flicks over the last couple of years that are good from you guys.

Mindless comedies that I can absolutely watch over and over (and they still crack me up):

• 40-Year Old Virgin
• Role Models
• Step Brothers
• Blades of Glory

Other good mindless ones that made me laugh:

• Get Him to the Greek
• The Hangover
• The Other Guys
• Walk Hard
• Bridesmaids
• Cop Out (surprisingly entertaining)

Twin Town

It's a Welsh film about twin brothers who are misfits & violent.

There are times when you really crack me up. This is one of them!

Hot Rod

It's the guys from the Lonely Island and it is total shit.

Hilarious though. I was stoned at the time so I didn't mind the brainlessness and was creasing laughing throughout!

I can watch this movie again and again and still laugh.

I found that movie to be incredibly dull.

I paid real money to watch that film in the theatre 6 times in 7 days. You really need to be familiar with American detective movies from the 30s & 40s to get it though.

I guess your right. Coz I didn't get the ending at all. :D

Haha figured I'd get shit for wanting stuff in the last few years but I'm just on that kick at the moment after watching mainly older flicks 90% of the time.

Love that one. Saw it about 10 times when it first came out. Shame it got eclipsed by Trainspotting's success and a lot of people missed out on it because it's brilliant and packed with some dark humour.

Ever seen sahara? its pretty entertaining fun to watch during parties.

I watched Hall Pass recently and found it hilarious.

One of my favourites is Haunted Honeymoon.

Raw Force (a.k.a. The Kung Fu Cannibals). My friend, John Locke, played one of the American martial-arts guys in the film. If you can get through the slow first ten minutes you'll laugh, non-stop, for the next eighty.

Three Americans set out to save pacific island strippers from cannibalistic monks.

It's so bad it's great! Rated #49, i think, on the top 50 worst films of all-time. You may have to order it online. Hard to say.

If you don't mind retro-Revenge Of The Nerds cracks me up-I can't wait for next year's Revenge of the Jocks lol

Four Rooms is great. It's one of the Tarantino flicks that gets overlooked. His segment is brilliant and proves he doesn't need to wank on for 2+ hours to make an effective film.

My favorite segment in Four Rooms has to be The Misbehavers. That part makes me giggle no matter how many times I watch it. All 4 segments were well done, IMO. My only complaint is the electrical tape thats strategically placed on Alicia Witt in The Missing Ingredient segment...lol;)

Definately one of my favorite comedies!

The Wendell Baker Story (fun flick starring Luke Wilson)
Haggard (but I'm sure you've already seen it)

Wieners (don't ask me why but I found this hilarious*)
Sex Drive (*see Wieners)
Dirty Love (Jenny McCarthy is hilarious)
And of course for a good laugh watch Zombiegeddon........lol:cool:

What About Bob? is a good one

You can never go wrong with Bill Murray....except maybe Garfield :rolleyes:

Evil aliens is much more recent and hilarious Emily Booth is always a hoot.
