What did you rent today?

Today's pickups are:

Gacy

Red Dragon

Wishmaster

I've watched half of Gacy and it's pretty good for a direct to video release. I don't expect much out of either Red Dragon or Wishmaster. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

newb 04-27-2004 10:20 AM

I rented a Cobra 1/3 HP 3/8 in Electric Drain Snake from Home Depot. The old lady clogged up the shitter again.

I have that problems sometimes too. Good thing my dad is a plumber!

newb 04-27-2004 11:43 AM

His name wouldn't be Mario by any chance, would it?

Arioch 04-27-2004 11:51 AM

Red Dragon Owns man. Saw it the day it came out, i think ill watch that fucker right now actually:p

newb 04-27-2004 12:02 PM

Red Dragon was good. But I think Manhunter had more style.

Arioch 04-27-2004 12:10 PM

Maybe but im partial to the book, as i read it first, and Red Dragon is far more faithful. Plus the Ana-Gotta-Divida shootout ending didnt do it for me:o

Shadowstar 04-27-2004 02:10 PM

The last movie I rented was the new TCM. But I never watched it, just went to Evis' house because he had bought it.
I'm not really a movie renter.

red dragon is more faithfull, but i prefer manhunter. much more stylish.

orangestar 04-27-2004 04:33 PM

Red Dragon is my favorite of the 4 of them, mostly because Ed Norton & Ralph Fienes are two of my favorites.

Gacy is one of the great straight-to-video releases. Such an awesome story. I love serial killers :)

Havent seen Wishmaster yet, its on my to-do list tho.

I rented Incubus today, it is completley in this weird language (cant remember the name at the moment) with English Subtitles. It has William Shatner pre-trek and a great story. Anyone else seen it?

Neogentik 04-27-2004 07:48 PM

House of the Dead, I thought it was alright.

wufongtan 04-28-2004 04:26 AM

NONE! and speaking of wish master, i would like to thank the makers of 5 or 6 or w/e for providing me with my mostlamest moment in my movie veiwing life, it was when he had that woman cornered in a lab, an he goes make a wish blah blah , O hegoes uwish fora place to hide? n hesticks her head in a rat cage and goes how about this? and the rat kills her. i knew then that these fuckers have run out of ideas. he could have made her dissapear up her arse or something, anything! would have been better than that ffs

r u alanis morrisette?

Horrorfiend 04-29-2004 07:01 AM

I didn't get to watch any of the films I rented (Gacy, Red Dragon, Wishmaster) because my dad took them back. He thought they were the ones I rented the night before and were due back. Oh well, I stole $5.75 off of him to rent them. No big loss.

BudMan 04-29-2004 08:20 AM

Yesterday I rented a really bad movie from "Full Moon Video" [ do they put out anything good? ] I think it was called "Tomb of Horror" or something like that , don't bother with that one. I also rented Gingersnaps 2 ,which I have not watched yet.

Horrorfiend 04-29-2004 09:11 AM

Gingersnaps 2 is wicked.

Horrorfiend 04-30-2004 01:51 AM

Last night I rented Dark Harvest. Besides a couple of nice tit shots the movie sucks balls.

orangestar 04-30-2004 04:32 AM

I just rented what looks like "THE WORST MOVIE" of all time. Its called "Vampires vs Zombies". I'll let you know how bad it was.

Horrorfiend 05-11-2004 08:53 PM

On the weekend I rented:

Interview with the Vampire
Hellraiser 2
Blacula
Fright Night
Session 9
Brain Damage

jay o2 waster 05-12-2004 06:18 AM

i rented Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD, lol

newb 05-14-2004 06:19 AM

OK, I want to save you fine people 3 or 4 bucks. If you happen to see this movie [ Vampires vs Zombies ] on your local video store shelf, I implore you to run, really fast , out the door of the Blockbuster, or Hollywood Video and don't look back. You have been warned. I think I managed to make it 20 minutes and had to shut it off and quickly return it so as not to infect my DVD player. Acting: horrible, Effects: worse. I don't even think there was nudity ,which may have helped but like I said I didn't make it too far.

orangestar 05-14-2004 07:44 PM

As I have already complained about on another board, I rented feardotcom. It was one of the worst movies I have ever seen, and I have seen some bad ones. I despise it and I feel the need to boycott it.

kpropain 05-15-2004 07:12 AM

I rented Scary movie 3 a few days ago, it was pretty funny, and better than the second one imo.

jay o2 waster 05-15-2004 07:50 AM

i loved scary movie 3

HI!

I watched Cold Creek Manor last night. Pretty good, but not exceptional. Lots of info left out. Reminded me of a few other movies all rolled into one.

On Red Dragon and Manhunter..... mmmmm..... like them both. I own Manhunter, and definitely will buy the other. Ed Norton is one of my favorite actors! Really liked him in American History X!

Arioch 05-16-2004 11:29 AM

American History X does own...

Am i the only one that doesnt rent movies anymore?? I just download anything i want to see for free, via file sharing programs...

Hi there!

Unfortunitely Im not very knowledgable about the computer yet!

I will eventually get to doing all that and saving the bucks. We really only got our computer in the fall, and I just started using it at work 2 yrs ago. Had to figure it all out on my own fast. Getting there though. Trial and error all the way! LOL!
