May
The Evil Dead An American Werewolf in London Dracula (1931) Whatever Happened to Baby Jane The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original) House of 1000 Corpses Night of the Living Dead Halloween (original) Halloween II (Rob Zombie remake) The Rocky Horror Picture Show Poltergeist Trick R Treat Beetlejuice It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Also, Halloween episodes of TV shows like Pushing Daisies, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, and The Office (US) |
Pet Semetary - I haven't seen it in over a decade because I find it so creepy. It's time to revisit this movie and see if it still scares me. Plus, my husband has never seen it.
Dread - When I asked about Horrorfest movies on here, many people posted it was one of the few worth watching. I was having trouble finding something good that I've never seen, so this will do. May - I love it but haven't seen it in quite a while. It's another my husband has never seen but I've always thought he would enjoy it because it's so quirky. That's all I know for sure, we're also planning to watch the Walking Dead premiere on AMC. |
I'm thinking that I'm off on sunday, october 31st 2010 (Halloween) so I'm probably going to have a slasher film marathon.
My playlist as it currently stands: #1. Friday the 13th franchise: (1980-2009) -Part I-VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1980-1989) -Friday the 13th (2009) #2. A Nightmare on elm street (1984-1994) -Part I-Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1984-1994) and maybe Freddy Vs. Jason (2003) and if I have time, I'm going to end with the Halloween Franchise (1978-2009) John Carpenter's Halloween (1978), part II (1981), maybe part III: season of the witch (1982) even though it has nothing to do with Michael Myers, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, Halloween Resurrection, and both Rob Zombie remakes. (I don't own The Curse of Michael Myers or Halloween H20: 20 years later [yet] then I'm ending my evening/night with going to the local cinema in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and going to go see Paranormal Activity 2 with my Girlfriend. :) |

It looks like I am working that night ::sad::
However, that means I will have to have a Halloween makeup movie night on Saturday and possibly Sunday!! I think I will watch (out of my own collection): Trick R Treat Sinister Halloween I & II (Rob Zombie) House of 1,000 Corpses Sleepy Hollow Pet Semetary The Lost Boys Interview with a Vampire Queen of the Damned I will also have to make a trip to Family Video and check out some other old ones and new ones!! |
There are so many, and I watch them all year long including SyFy's 31 Days of Halloween, and all the fun on my fave network - Chiller TV.
House of a 1000 Corpses The Friday the 13th movie series The Halloween movie series including Rob Zombie's contributions Happy Hell Night House on Haunted Hill The Pumpkin Head movie series Planet Terror The Lords of Salem & so many more ... |
I look forward to exactly one movie every year to watch around Halloween - Tremors (1990).
I watch so much horror through the year both movies I've seen many times and those I've never seen. I don't actually own Tremors on any format and I could have bought it by now, but a part of me would miss the excitement of seeing it on television every year. Seriously, it's like, "OMG! Tremors is on!" and then I do a worship dance and eat two pounds of chocolate. |
Suspiria
Halloween (original) Exorcist Night followed by Dawn of the Dead (both origina) |

I do not know which films I will be watching on Halloween until that day. I know that that night I will be having some people over to watch horror films. I have a Halloween horror movie weekend every year on the weekend the closest to Halloween. As far as during the month of October, I watch many horror films. I will be having my own 31 Days of Halloween marathon (where I watch one official horror movie every day in the month of October) and I will be participating in Chronogrl's and probably Villain's marathons as well. Not to mention the films on T.V. such as the AMC FearFest. October is a great month. |
getting a slow start but should be picking up soon
thus far Jaws An American Werewolf in London The Exorcist Shadow of The Vampire to be cont. |
Off to a great October. Have watched all the Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th films the past two days.

Horcrux
I LOVE Tom Savini's version a lot. Even a binge of the Return of the Living Dead. I just have to scale back the list some being that the previous couple days leading up to Halloween I will be marathoning Misfits, Samhain, Graves, X-Ward, Calabrese, the Other, Balzac and to lead things off------Silent Horror. Argyle Goolsby's latest band. Likely carve Ol' Jack to Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13. Naw, It's gonna be Silent Horror. Even here I'm excluding Danzig, Gorgeous Frankenstein and Doyle. Other's I'd like to watch would be back to back's of originals and remakes: Halloween Night of the Living Dead Day of the Dead Evil Dead then follow up with Wither the Thing then Carpenter's version. Exorcist the Beginning/Exorcist: Dominion OR Hammer VS Universal Dracula, Frankenstein and the Mummy films. Jeez. I could go on. Can I add Orphan Killer and Texas Chainsaw Massacre to my original list? |
I mean just binge watch The first three Return rims. Not that they have anything to do with Savini. Maybe tonight I will give them a go. Haven't seen them in ages. According to yo girlfriend, everyday is Halloween for me pretty much.

I begin watching horror films at the start of October. I love the Autumn and Halloween has always been my favorite day/season of the year. I cant stand remakes so anything listed below is going to be the original. I love catching the good old black and whites on television most especially. Anyways, heres a list of my favorites:
Frankenstein (1931) 13 Ghosts (1960) Halloween (1978) Halloween II (1981) Halloween III: Season of the Witch Rosemary's Baby The Fog (1980) When a Stranger Calls (1979) When a Stranger Calls Back Black Christmas (1974) The Tenant Hellraiser Hellraiser II Perfect Blue Black Swan The Wicker Man (1973) The Strangers Citizen X Candyman A Clockwork Orange (Practically every Dario Argento film, namely Profondo Rosso, Suspiria, Tenebre, Inferno, and Terror at the Opera.) The Hitcher (1986) Peeping Tom Audition Im sure there are a billion more im forgetting ATM. |

very creepy and atmospheric movie with just a tad overacting from George and Brad. Keep the room quiet and crank up the surround sound and there are a couple scenes in there that will scare the poop out of you |
