the doors and alice cooper's music creepy or odd?

Ive noticed that most people on the internet say that music done by alice cooper and the doors are both creepy so I thought Id ask the professionals(all of you) if you thought this was true or if the music is just weird to you!

TheWickerFan 09-22-2010 01:09 PM

Neither. I love both of them.

bloody_ribcut 09-22-2010 01:09 PM

no. .

Sistinas666 09-22-2010 01:18 PM

Neither seem creepy to be, boring but not creepy.

Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are creepy to me....wait I meant talentless twat faces.

Elvis_Christ 09-23-2010 12:42 AM

Some of Alice Cooper's earlier tunes have a creepy feel to them.

Don't get why anyone would say The Doors are creepy.

newb 09-23-2010 02:09 PM

Alice sings of "Dead Babies" and "Sick Things"...it's suppose to be creepy

The Doors are more blues based....nothing really creepy, although "The End" was a bit on the creepy side.

very fond of both of them

Yeah,I agree they might sound eerie sometimes but to me both have catchy songs more than anything although the doors'song people are strange has a little dreary atmosphere to it but,as for alice cooper's songs they are fun to listen to because he tries so hard to be spooky but rarely is!One of these that is a little on the spooky side is I love the dead but still more catchy than spooky.

Doors kind of has an eerie vibe with use of some unusual sounds in certain tracks, but not overall.
Cooper explores some dark themes, but not overly so.
Personally though, having just "grown up with" this stuff, I didn't find it overly weird at all.

The more weird (in that they're different and slightly unusual) from around then, I'd consider echo and the bunnymen, peter gabriel, tears for fears...though I quite like those too.

I will defend Gaga's ability to sing forever. Note that doesnt mean I like her music.

But no Cooper nor the doors were creepy.

Creepy: The Nekromantix
Odd: Mike Patton

True. Though I actually enjoyed her music before the wild looks and everything, back when it was just her, a piano and some bar in New York.

Never really got into Alice Cooper or The Doors. Alice Cooper definitely put on a creepy, or shock type show back in the day, but his music itself isn't really creepy.
My wife is a big fan of his, and from what we've listened to together, his music seems more thought evoking. Not his standards like Million Dollar Babies, or Schools Out, but stuff like Only Women Bleed and I Never Cry.

The Doors I don't find creepy at all. Kinda weird, but not in a creepy way.

Now, Lady Gaga. That dude is creepy;)

yeah alice does have songs like that like the song brutal planet thoughts of our sins in life! Lady Gaga to me seems like just another person trying to get fans by weirding out the public so I pay her no notice except when someone bugs me by mentioning her!

Yeah, that's the only possibly creepy thing I could think of for The Doors.

Alice Cooper is the man! Period. Man Behind the mask was a wonderful tribute to Jason Voorhees, plus who can forget poison and schools out?
