Need to contact horror and demand a separate section for WickerFan.

Let's call it the "Top WickerFan Threads" section. :)

I do apologize; I get carried away sometimes.

And to answer neverending; that was Top Spiders not Top Insects:p

We all do, my friend. We all do. :)

Hmm...The Fly (original and remake).

Empire of the Ants.

Wasp Woman is another which comes to mind.

The Deadly Mantis.

Mimic was good. The sequels sucked.

Bug, released in 1975, was about roaches.

All great movies (although I find The Fly rather upsetting).

Totally forgot about Bug. Roaches that delivered electric shocks at the base of the neck (as if roaches weren't troublesome enough).http://www.cinemademerde.com/Bug-brady.gif

Do not forget "the Bees", it came out the same time "the Swarm" did. I do not know how many people have watched it, but it is enjoyable, and though it is no work of art, I think it is much better than "the Swarm" is, though, although I somewhat enjoyed "the Swarm", but mostly because of the famous cast. The holographic bee scene somewhat got to me, though.

Other memorable insect scenes include:

"Phantasm" (the fly scene, ugh, creepy)
"The Willies" (giant fly scene)
"Poltergeist: the Legacy" (episode: "the Substitute") (invisible insects, ugh!)
