Two property features with incredible potential to harm people, these are my favorite scenes featuring unpleasant events (usually death) centered around a barn or well:

The Ruins (just the beginning of their problems)

Not horror, but Ive always liked the scene in Witness where Harrison Ford drowns/suffocates that bloke in the grain silo.

The Changeling - great well scene. The Ring owes a lot to this film.

Farm, barn, or well? I honestly can't remember.

The beginning of the first one takes place on a barn. After the father goes to lock up the animals that is when the random dude who is killed by pumpkinhead a little later starts knocking at the barn door.

Inbred and devils bridge immediately sprang to mind.....as well as evil aliens

Oh and The Shuttered room....everyone loves it when the slutty one gets fucked up in a barn..all for a pair of American tan tights.

Not seen Inbred but wasn't devils bridge that one in Wales? Yeah that's a good one nice little bit of occult horror.

Yeah,the one set in Wales.Not occult,you may be thinking of wake wood or something.Devils bridge was angry welsh farmer annoyed that welsh property was being used by English folk, good twist at the end(if a tad predictable )

You're right I mixed it up with Wake Wood so no I haven't seen that one-managed to track down Inbred so I'll give it a watch asap

LOL well as a veggie I'd never eat those things anyway thank goodness. Just saw Inbred it was really good. Loved the barn "show" and its explosive gore. Also great as always to see the delightful Emily Booth at the beginning. Fun film thanks for the rec :)
