An earlier version of the hand was the beast with five fingers starring Peter Lorre. I think there were other versions too (Hands of a stranger, Hands of Orlac) but I haven't seen them.

I've always really liked the film Body Parts.

But yeh that's different than what you're getting at I guess. Possessed limbs are a bit different than severed ones going on a rampage :)

I don't recall there being any body parts that were evil or moved around by themselves in any of the movies you mentioned.

I don't recall any body parts moving around by themselves in those films, but I enjoyed David Cronenberg's work as well.

While it doesnt deserve top spot, I think Idle Hands was worth a few giggles...
