Top Evil Furniture And Appliances

I love the concept more than the films themselves, but here are my favorites:

The Mangler (1995) - laundry folding machine with a refrigerator in a cameo.
The Refrigerator (1991)
Amityville 4 The Evil Escapes (1989) - evil lamp
Death Bed The Bed That Eats (1977) - killer canopy bed
Amityville It's About Time (1992) - evil clock
Amityville A New Generation (1993) - killer mirror
Torture Garden (1967) (Mr. Steinway) - evil piano
From Beyond The Grave (1973) (The Gate Crasher) - another evil mirror

What did I miss?

There's an Evil Tennis Court in one of the Hammer House of Mystery and Suspence (i kid ye not)

Demon Seed (even though its a robot too i'd count it)

Pity the Washing MAchine doesn't count.

Mirrors (and the Orignal)

Haha, I got evil furniture, Mr. Mom, the vaccuum cleaner, and the washing machine from Mr. Mom.

Great stuff guys! I've never seen Hammer House Of Mystery (just Hammer House Of Horror); it looks like fun. Should have remembered Maximum Overdrive; in particular the killer soda machinehttp://img.youtube.com/vi/at3OiAvUjH4/0.jpg

Also, there was this memorable scene from Evil Dead 2http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83ciw...eature=related

Is t From Beyond the Grave that has the Haunted Door too...

Theres one thats wrecking my head abut an interior designer who gets a second hand desk for a client and it has an evil spirit in it..

TheWickerFan 06-24-2010 05:44 AM

Yeah, From Beyond The Grave has a story called The Door about a door that is a portal to something or other.

Not sure what the desk movie is.:(

There was the Japanese masterpiece Battle Heater and the Twilight Zone episode "A thing about machines". Neither of them are classics, but they fit the category.

I've got a good one, but it's not exactly in a horror movie.

How about that fridge from Requiem for a Dream?

"Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! Juice it! "

lol

Also not a horror movie, but the factory scene in Modern Times- both the huge gear machine scene, and also the eating machine.

The eating machine has a hellish look to it. Your eternal punishment for gluttony.http://vjmorton.files.wordpress.com/...oderntimes.jpg
