Top Rat Attacks

These are some of my favorite movies featuring rat attacks (scary, silly, giant, singular, plural)

Deadly Eyes
Graveyard Shift
Willard
Ben
Of Unknown Origin
The Abominable Dr. Phibes
Food Of The Gods

I'm sure there are tons I've forgotten. What are your favorites?

P.S. Any great cockroach attack movies besides Creepshow?

Rats - nights of terror

I love the episodes of BEASTS - Bartley's Party.

Food of the Goods II

The cool rats in the sewers episode of The New Avengers.

Someone needs to do a version of the RATS IN THE WALLS.

TheWickerFan 06-18-2010 03:29 PM

Great picks. I've never heard of Beasts; it looks like my sort of show.

I particularly like the looks of Rats, Night Of Terrorhttp://www.horrorexpress.com/images/rats2-390.jpg

Also thought of this episode of Dr. Who, The Talons Of Weng Chianghttp://www.drwho-online.co.uk/news/i...giantrat-2.jpg

On a literary note, I recommend the novel Willard is adapted from- Ratman's Notebooks. There's a satirical element to the book both of the movies completely ignore.

Looks good. I shall add it to my Amazon Wishlist.

AMICUS HORROR 06-19-2010 09:37 AM

The best rat movie of all and directed by the best horror director in the world.
http://www.horror.com/forum/picture....&pictureid=448

Directed by the Ed Wood of Italian cinema, Bruno Mattei or is it Vincent Dawn. This director has more names than most, at last count 25.
I like him anyway.:o

Wow, I don't think I've seen any of his films. Looks like he did a fair bit of Nazi and Women's Prison exploitation films.

As far as roach movies go, the one to beat is The Nest.

I left a P.S. about recommending cockroach movies as I could only think of Creepshow.

The Nest looks awesome.http://www.beyondhollywood.com/uploa...e-nest-dvd.jpg

Couldn't find a picture, but there was a horrific rat attack in Dario Argento's Inferno.

Just watched The Nest (1988). Great, cheesy fun; a cockroach-palooza.

It's very rare that I like TV commercials, but the Orkin commercials crack me up.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6LWGL_-sZc
