HDC Coffin Joe screening.
 

So I think we all need a day to hang out and have fun with some crazy cult classics. I have downloaded some Coffin Joe movies (At Midnight I Will Take Your Soul, This Night I'll Possess Your Corpse and The Strange World of Coffin Joe). I also have Awakening The Beast coming. They have no subtitles at the minute but I am working on finding some so that we can hopefully have an HDC movie night.

This would include movies on the left side of your screen, and discussion with HDC regulars on the right.

What I need to know is, when would be the best day/time for everyone who wants to participate?

As of right now we have subtitles!

Evenings, usually after 7 or so EST.

Just figure out a time and day and I'll see if I can make it, my schedule is kinda here and there so I dunno.

Yes. I have an account on livestream.com. It's reliable and they have their own program for the streaming movie thing which I already have set up on my computer. I'm gonna do a test stream of some Carnivale episodes just to make sure it works and my settings are all fine.


So we're looking at weekdays after 8, and not a Monday. Maybe separate it and do one movie a night, once a week for a month, cause I have 4 movies. Or do the first two in a single night, and then a week later do the documentary and Awakening The Beast. Once I get a few more interested people I will choose a day.

How do Wednesdays sound? Something to keep all the working/schooling folk sane til the weekend.

If we do one movie a week that wouldn't be too bad. Then people can get to bed at a decent hour.

I hate time zones. 9 est is 8 here. So that's definitely fine with me.

Damn, I wish I could join in. Weeknights I'm usually in bed between 8 and 9 since I get up at 4. Right now, with being at the jobsite, Saturday nights are best.

Well, maybe we can have a separate Saturday night some other time. I wouldn't mind watching horror with my HDC ladies. :D

Sounds like fun, when I have internet of my own again I'll be down. We should find a chatroom while we are watching, then we can put our hair in curlers and read Tiger Beat!

I totally back what NE said about Coffin Joe. Dude is a genius and has made some truly unique flicks. There's a lot of his work I haven't seen yet but what I have watched is killer and really stylish.

I will have to check these flicks out, sound like they are up my alley. But at the moment my internet is a mobile usb plug in which gets shit coverage where I live which is why this month is free then i cancel it, also why I am hardly ever on here because sometimes it might take 5 minutes to load the site.

Used to be, but moved back east for the summer.

Thats whats confusing me though...if its 8 for her, it should be 9 for me. But the time zone converter online says that 9pm EST should be 11pm for me.

Oh well...I'll show up around 9, and hope I didn't miss anything.
