The only person in that batch that qualifies as a hero is Ash.

Hero:
1. In mythology and legend, a man, often of divine ancestry, who is endowed with great courage and strength, celebrated for his bold exploits, and favored by the gods.
2. A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life: soldiers and nurses who were heroes in an unpopular war.

Why Jason, Mike, Freddy, etc etc would ever be considered heros when they're slashers and murderers is far beyond me.

Some people need new idols to look up to.

Its a coin flip between "John Nada" and the great "Ash"!, but as only Ash appears, then Ash!

Cant quite see the "hero" in the other's they are not even anti-hero's!

... can I also count (although I dont think he appears on screen), the director of the one and only "Troll 2", for bringing such a well written and constructed movie to the screen, his genuis brings tears to my eyes!
