any 1 seen 'the Pack'

heyHEY,,
has any 1 seen an old horror (made early 80's, i think!!?)
titled : 'the Pack' (might be called something else?)
its about a pack of wild dogs that have rabies and go nuts, they look sick as hell- teeth always showing, mangie, scruffy looking, and the pack has kind of hirarchy system 2 it, with a head dog that leads the pack....
i saw it when i was a kid.. cant find it a any local video shops, and nothing on the net about it, does it exist, maybe that was a dream i had??!

When is the database 4 Horror.com going 2 be accessable?

avenger00soul 10-12-2003 05:45 PM

The Pack (1977) starring Joe Don Baker. Yep, it's a movie.

avenger00soul 10-12-2003 06:01 PM

No problem brother. Just go to www.imdb.com and find old movies to your heart's desire.

Cheers again,, muchly appreciated!!
but my heart diesired a long time ago!;)

thehalk 10-12-2003 07:30 PM

wat was the plot of the movie?

SCREAMERatorX 10-12-2003 07:55 PM

cant say i remember the plot... saw it when i was about 5 yr/o,
'flashback' memories...

i like the idea of animals in horror... challenging 2 produce, without CGI. dont u think?

Have u seen 'Razorback'? .. pretty average low budget Australian horror about a wild bore(pig)... i guess its one of those movies u appreciate for the location... dirty Aussie outback country!!

thehalk 10-12-2003 08:02 PM

y do u like animals in horrors?

SCREAMERatorX 10-12-2003 08:18 PM

in terms of movie production, its hard 2 get animals 2 'act' and follow the script, as opposed 2 humans or 3D models.
as i said,, its more of a challenge for the production team to achieve the desired result of creating a worthy film.:(

That's probably why most killer dog movies suck. I don't like Cujo (yell at me if you must). Dogs of Hell sucks, Man's Best Friend sucked, Zoltan Hound of Dracula sucked. In fact, I've yet to see an impressive killer dog flick. I haven't see The Pack however.

thehalk 10-13-2003 07:06 AM

BUMP!!!!!!

just found the oldest thread and dug it up for you guy's who remember these guys!

chaibill 05-04-2007 07:05 AM

I had seen a trailer for a movie called "The Breed" witch is a bunch of german shepards going nuts on some teens. But in the german shepards defence one of the teens says"this place is awsome" (when they arive at the remote cabin in the woods) which is totally cliche' so they deserve to die.

Have not seen it yet but it is on my netflix, I think the spanish looking girl from blue crush is in it

bleh...there should be a sign with these threads to not to bump em.

Let sleeping threads lie.
