Not a bad card but far from the excellent card that should have been shown forsuch a milestone event.

Hendo vs Bisping was the one i was dying to see and it lived up to the hype and the some..It will Bisping awhile to recover from such a brutal KO.

i love seeing a good fake fight in the movies - but i cant stomach the sight of people beating the shit out of each other for real.

Despite how the gifs look - I do appreciate the martial skill aspect to it and theres a lot more to it then 2 guys beating shit out of each other. There's a more to understand then boxing too.

I prefer K1.

I loved seeing GSP dominate one of the best up n' comers but hated seeing Brock act like a prick after such a boring performance. Yes, he's big, he laid on top of the guy and hit him, VERY little even in the way of wrestling skills showcased during that fight. I've never thought Mir was that good though, it will be interesting to see who he fights next.

I'm a huge MMA and Boxing fan as well, my life pretty much revloves around horror movies/books and the fight game (keeps me inspired to stay in shape).

I thought what was really interesting was the dominance of wrestling (of course I'm referring to real, greco-roman wrestling, not the fake stuff). GSP was amazing - and he never had any wrestling training before he started fighting MMA, his control and positioning was amazing, as was Lesnar's - It's just too bad it's impossible to have any respect for Lesnar whatsoever because of his disgusting behavior. Mir fought a stupid fight, I think he didn't even bother to train for Lesnar's wrestling, I could see a 3rd fight between the two at some point.

I can't believe Bisping thought it was a good idea to circle TOWARD your opponents power hand. Smart.

Mir dissing the main UFC sponsor then being sat down by Dana and made do an apology with a bottle of bud in front of him..lol.

I kinda enjoyed the Coleman fight thought it wasn't exactly a barnburner I did like seening the vetern win..

And the Bisping circling the wrong way was incredible especially when Hendo is know for his big right hand.

To be honest I'm not sure what Mir could have done better - There was no way he could prevent the take down, all he could hope for was a sub of his back like the first fight.

It was Lesnar that did the dissing not Mir.Lesnar is un deserving on that title.I think it is pure bullshit that he got a title shot after only two fights and he lost one of them.

Bisping had a good fight but the cheap forearm shot after he new the dude was out was pretty lame.

I agree with Despare the GSP fight was awesome.

Yea sucks I didnt get to see any of the prelims, I would have like to have seen Coleman-Bonnar, especially since Coleman pulled it out as a 45 year old man.

Jon Jones is the new star IMO, that guy is just going to keep progressing and kicking ass.

I love Brock Lesnar, I think he's a MONSTER!

I think it'll be quite awhile before anyone can take that World Title from him.

It's odd, I can only watch MMA with friends and other people. If I try watching it on my own, I get bored and it's just not the same.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to (respectfully) strongly disagree with you. The rabid MMA/Boxing fan in me can't help it. I really was disgusted by Brock's post-fight antics, and while I respect him as a fighter I'm not a fan of him at all. He'll have a lot of trouble against Carwin, who is actually larger than him (and at least as good as a wrestler with more powerful striking), and probably Cro-Cop too who has a reach and height advantage - and not to mention leg kicks of doom. Fedor would armbar him inside two rounds, there is not another fighter who has more all around skill and intelligence than Fedor. Brock is still developing, and in another 5 years may be regarded as one of the greats, just not now. He doesn't really have a world title, like boxing, MMA is splintered. The UFC, like all fight promotions, want it to be a "world title" but it's all just hyperbole. You got to watch a lot of fights, not just ones that happen in the US, to see who is really the best at each weight class.

It's really, really worth it to understand the art of fighting, at least it is for me, keeps me motivated to train and workout myself. It's exciting to watch with friends, I know what your saying - but it's also sublime to watch a fight by yourself and catch all the subtleties that are always overlooked. It's like watching the Exorcist alone in the dark by yourself.

But you're so wrong... the boss monkey isn't even a fighter, his name's Dana White and he has no problem displaying the power he has over these fighters.
