I love both bands but metallicas first 5 albums were amazingly good but then they seemed to fade out even with there new album, megadeths albums have always been good with the fast drumming and guitaring, and there newer albums are still fast and have that megadeth sound that we all came to love

so im gonna go with megadeth on this one, they stayed true to the style

Big fan of both but I tend to listen to more Megadeth these days because I've done Metallica to death. I haven't heard much after Youthanisia but dig all those albums a lot.

What other thrash bands do you like?

Megadeth hands down. Metallica is alright but nowadays they're such pricks (unwarranted at that) that it negates most of their decent music.

Much more talented guitars and more interesting riffs. I also like their style of music a lot more.

Metallica beucase Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning, and Master of Puppets are absolute classics and must owns. Where as Megadeath in my opinion doesn't have a classic album but that's not to say I don't enjoy Megadeath because I do.

Mustaine and Ulrich are two of the biggest jerks in thrash. Both are a case of think before you act/speak... those guys have said some really whack shit and they've just forgotten what music's all about. Thrashers selling out on their scene to become rockstars. Great tunes till it turned into feeding the ego and filling the pockets.

Why not thrash out to something new and forget about washed up whores flogging a dead horse....

Find it to be their catchiest song to date and i just loooove the harmony guitar riffs throughout the bridge and chorus. That's typical Friedman.

Dolly, I would have never thought you liked Megadeth. Those are also both my favorite Deth albums too.

Megadeth by a long shot. Rust In Peace is one of my top ten favorite albums of all time. Marty Fiedman is one of my favorite guitarists, right up with Jackie Lee. When I played guitar, I modeled myself after those two.
