So, tonight's the big night

Many times here we have discussed meeting members of Horror.com.

What if one of them was moving in with you?...Could you even IMAGINE?

Posher is loading up his clothes, his fish and his television (apparently the 25" tv we have in the guest room isn't as desirable as his small flat screen  ), and heading up this way tonight.

I think he's gonna bug the hell out of us :p

But, I also think it will be a learning experience for him and help him to make the transition into adulthood and personal responsibility :)

Despare 04-15-2009 09:57 AM

I thought that little bastard was in school, living in a dorm.

neverending 04-15-2009 09:59 AM

This just screams reality TV.

He hates it...He wants to get a job and a place of his own...He wants to choose a life and a lifestyle for himself, instead of one that his parents have dictated for him...He wants to see what it's like to be out on his own...He doesn't feel like he has that opportunity while he's down there trapped under his parents' thumbs...He's an adult now, and he wants to try to live like one.

HaHa...I don't watch reality television...But, I do believe this will definitely be interesting...And I have no doubt that you guys will hear much about it :)

newb 04-15-2009 10:10 AM

If he's half as abrasive as he is on here then you're in for hell of a time. :D

So if my wife ever throws me out....you have extra room?

one with a refrigerator of course....I'll supply my own beer.

Actually, we DO have a mini refrigerator in the basement...And the basement has a separate livingroom, bathroom and bedroom (however one of Seri's friends pretty much destroyed the bathroom down there when we let him stay, and now the hot water doesn't turn on in that bathtub...It can be fixed, but we haven't gotten around to it)...BUT...You know your wife would never let you go ;)

missmacabre 04-15-2009 10:29 AM

I'm glad Posher is getting away from his Mom specifically. It will be great for him to get out on his own and you are the perfect mix of a responsible and fun landlady person.

Dante'sInferno 04-15-2009 10:32 AM

Have fun! :)

Thanks for the vote of confidence, that's very sweet, however I'm not fooling myself, I know that there will be times when we will clash, that's normal...I will be encouraging him while trying not to 'push' him, it's a delicate balance, but Seri survived :)...In fact, she's very happy on her own and doing extremely well, I'm very proud of her...Our intention is to do the same for Posher that we have done for Seri (and a few of her friends)...I'm looking forward to seeing him grow on many levels, but I'm also a bit apprehensive, which is also to be expected...And personally, I believe his father is more oppressive than his mother, his mother just doesn't want to lose her baby...I understand that, too.

Zero 04-15-2009 10:38 AM

this looks like it will be fun - - - well fun for those of us watching from the outside - living hell for those trapped within the Posher Rayne Dude household (perhaps we can shorten it to PRUDE).

Yeah there will be fights, Posher is a shit disturber at times as it is. You remind me a lot of my friend's Mom though. She is very cool and fun, gives everyone their space but makes sure they make something of themselves. Always took anyone in when they needed space from their family for a bit, or got kicked out, or just wanted some freedom. Her kids were free to make their own decisions but had a standard set of rules that if you disobeyed them it wasn't her responsibility anymore. Only for really big fuckups though.

Make sure the little prick gets a job and helps out around the house.

Doc Faustus 04-15-2009 11:14 AM

Our ratings must be through the roof if Posh got his own spinoff.
(cue theme music. Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Cat Stevens!)

INT: Dorm room. Posh is sitting anguished over a desk. He puts away a copy of Das Kapital in favor of a Playgirl.

Theme music:
So, college was drivin' Posh insane, so he called up his good friends Dude and Rayne...

[Classic tv phone splitscreen. Rayne is baking cookies as she talks to an anguished Posh. A lightbulb comes on over her head. An excited Posh gives a thumbs-up]
Now Posh got lucky...
[Posh hitchhiking on the highway, picked up by a sexy, oiled up trucker]
And he's goin' to Kentucky...
[Posh standing next to " A Welcome to Kentucky sign]
Could turn out like Norman Rockwell or Hieronymous Bosch...
[Rayne fleeing from her flaming kitchen. Posh stands in the hallway shrugging]
Cause it's Posh!
[Heartwarming group hug with Rayne, Dude and Posh]
Like a Thanksgiving turkey finds its butternut squash...
They found Posh!

Thanks, Cat Stevens. Good luck with everything, guys. Cause if this doesn't work out, they'll probably have to use that other idea where V, Newb and I run a haunted circus.

missmacabre 04-15-2009 11:16 AM

HAHAHha wow.

Disease 04-15-2009 12:52 PM

I'm scared and I don't even live there or anywhere near there.

Plus, I told Novakru to come visit us all. Imagine all THAT under one roof. Holy hell.

Disease 04-15-2009 01:00 PM

I take it Rayne told you about the restricted internet useage. No dowloading pirated movies or music, no watching movies streaming online for free and only one hour internet per person per day because internet is rare and hard to come by in them parts.

I can easily imagine Novakru visiting, coz.. you know..... she's nice. :D

Seriously. To me, Rayne is looking more and more like some kind of HDC Mother Teresa. Or God maybe. ;) :)

Good luck to all of you. Posher, seems like you are moving into a good situation there. :)

scouse mac 04-15-2009 02:35 PM

You guys seem to get by though, maybe you should consider breeding some internet. If Posher brings his internets with him. Then you all could sell the younguns... ;)

X¤MurderDoll¤X 04-15-2009 05:40 PM

I can't think of two more opposite people on the forum.

neverending 04-15-2009 06:45 PM

I think Posher makes the perfect Pugsley to Rayne & Dude's Morticia & Gomez.

Phalanx 04-15-2009 07:05 PM

I think you're gonna end up hating eachother.
I could be wrong, but there's where I'd put my money.
At least for an eventual uncomfortable parting.

alkytrio666 04-15-2009 08:03 PM

Wow- big news, big change for both of you! I hope it's a good fit and that Posh can find some happiness with you.

The Flayed One 04-15-2009 08:44 PM

If newb moves in, I'm moving in as well. We'll get drunk and paint a line down the middle of the beer fridge. I better not see you getting in my side of the fridge, ya jerk!

Disease 04-15-2009 08:59 PM

Such a sleazy song....

neverending 04-15-2009 09:15 PM

Angra 04-15-2009 11:44 PM

Dude, don't go cheating on Rayne with Posh. It's not the HDC way. IT'S NOT COOL, MAN!!!

Posher778 04-16-2009 02:38 AM

now when you post about "the baby" I'm going to be confused as to which one you're referring to. :(

Posher778 04-16-2009 03:22 AM

Us babies here don't dress up like trannies and spread our legs for all of HDC. :)
